Vakantie in de bergen; speel op het meer!

Ruime twee verdiepingen tellende hut op het meer! Diep water overdekt privédok, bubbelbad, pooltafel, wifi en meer inclusief twee nieuwe kajaks.

De cabine bevindt zich; 20 minuten naar Blue Ridge (Lake Blue Ridge) en 10 minuten naar Blairsville en 25 minuten naar Hiawassee (Lake Chatuge) en 20 minuten naar Murphy N. C.

4 slaapkamers / 3 badkamers hut gelegen aan het meer van Nottely met een diep water prive overdekt dok. De 1. 5 hectare veel zorgt voor voldoende parkeergelegenheid en privacy!

Ons huis aan het meer ligt op enkele minuten van het centrum van Blairsville, dicht bij Vogel State Park, Desoto Falls, Brasstown Bald, Helen Georgia, het centrum van Blue Ridge en het Ace Sweepstakes Casino in Murphy, NC. Nieuw in het gebied is ook de Appalachian Porsche-rijervaring. In de omgeving zijn 8 watervallen en veel wandelmogelijkheden, waaronder het Appalachian-pad.

Na een dag vol plezier op het meer of het verkennen van de vele watervallen en wandelpaden in de buurt, kunt u thuis barbecueën op de grill, genieten van het uitzicht vanaf de veranda, ontspannen in het bubbelbad of een spelletje pool spelen!
Hoewel ons dok op diep water ligt, wordt het meer bestuurd door een dam. Na Labor Day tot mei is het waterniveau op het meer veel lager dan in de zomermaanden, maar nog steeds erg diep.
Het hoofdniveau heeft grote ramen met uitzicht op het meer. De woonkamer met kabel-tv staat open voor de keuken en eetkamer met voldoende zitplaatsen. Drie slaapkamers bevinden zich op dit niveau, samen met twee badkamers. In de slaapkamers op dit niveau vindt u een queensize bed, een tweepersoonsbed en een kamer met twee tweelingen. Je kunt op een van de drie overdekte portieken stappen om de middag door te brengen in een ligstoel, hangmat of bubbelbad.

Het lagere niveau is een geweldige plek om te entertainen! Het is uitgerust met een bar, een pooltafel en een grote kabel-tv. Op dit niveau vindt u ook een slaapkamer met een grote inloopdouche en een comfortabel kingsize bed. Stap naar buiten naar een overdekte veranda met een groot bubbelbad.

Als u geen eigen boot meebrengt, kunt u er een huren vanaf meerdere plaatsen langs het meer. De stad Blairsville en Blue Ridge zijn allebei erg charmant en hebben voor uw gemak veel eet- en entertainmentmogelijkheden. (Ga naar de Union County Chamber of Commerce of webpagina voor meer informatie).

Wonderful Mountain/Lake Getaway
We could not have been happier with our stay. We were two families (4 adults, and three middle schoolers) who enjoyed every moment of our time at this beautiful location. We found everything we needed in the home including many wonderful places to rest and relax. We were all sad to leave and hope to return someday.

This is our 3rd time staying here and we will be back! Plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and two little ones. Shirley provides everything you could possibly need and more. Family getaway
We rented this adorable lake house for the Memorial Day Weekend. The kitchen couldn’t be more stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had our 4 grandsons ages 4-8, and our children/spouses. Everyone loved the hot tub, pool table, foosball table and fire pit! We rented a pontoon boat and spent days enjoying that beautiful quiet lake. The decks are fabulous!!!! We loved this house and will keep it at the top of our list! Shirley, the owner, was terrific! Well appointed and perfect for our group and families
The house well very well appointed and decorated for the season. We all very much appreciated the little touches like the “tool chest “ full of snacks, coffees, condiments, extra coffees around, a kitchen that has all we needed for our girl’s weekend. The bedrooms were very comfortable and perfect sleeping arrangements. Very clean. We very much enjoyed the screened porch to relax and take in the view. It was also nice that all the light switches on the walls were labeled as well as fans. This was a beautiful home we could easily rent again!!

Loved the property and location. Everything about the cabin was nice, very roomy, with plenty to do for entertainment. Liked the screened in porches and beautiful flowers and plants on the front deck. Plenty of room for parking. Lots of stairs but no one in our group had any issues. Didn't get to fish as much as I wanted but still caught a few bass from the dock and even lost a bass close to 5 pounds. Also seen deer at the cabin every day sometimes multiple times a day. Most everything was 10 minutes or less away so very convenient. I would definitely like to book again in the future!

Loved the lake!
We enjoyed our stay over Labor Day. There were 7 seniors(60+) in our party and we had plenty of room and things to do. None of us had any issues with the stairs but there are lots of stairs in and around the house and down to the lake. Everything was as pictured and we enjoyed all the different levels and porches. The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked and all the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. The lake was not crowded and very enjoyable. Thank you Scott and Shirley for sharing your beautiful home.

Fun vacation home!
We stayed at Shirley's lake house for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was comfortable and clean with everything we needed for a fun vacation! Right on the lake, comfy beds with room for all 4 of us. All of the porches were a nice bonus! Grilled and ate outside almost every night. The dock was perfect for our rented pontoon boat too!

A Perfect Summer Escape on the Lake
What a fun, family vacation! We hiked, boated, swam, played games, grilled, and ultimately chilled. We LOVED the three screened in porches. They were perfect for playing games, napping, and relaxing in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed the downstairs so much- pool table, darts, foosball, and their own tv for video games and movies. Lake Living at its Finest
Our family really loved this home. We’ve summer vacationed a couple years at Lake Nottely and this was by far the best lake home we’ve rented. The screened in patio’s, fire pits and lake/dock areas were highlights for the entire family. Can’t wait to rent again.

Couldn’t have been better. Perfection.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It is perfection. Our group consisted of my husband and I, his parents and our two young boys (3 and 1). The accommodations for children was especially nice. There was a pack and play on site with a mattress and sheet all ready for us. Additionally, there were two booster seats for the table, an adorable kids table with two little chairs and a box of children’s books. This was all so nice, as it saved us room in our very packed car on the drive there and back. The kitchen is probably more stocked than my own with anything you could possibly need. We cooked all our meals on site and never once found ourselves lacking cooking utensils, appliances, etc. There are 4 porches or decks on this house and we were in love with each of them. There is one that shoots off from the kitchen (fully screened) with the grill and a large table/chairs. That was our favorite place to have our meals. So perfect. The dock was enjoyed every day for fishing. That was probably my 3 year olds favorite part of our whole trip, catching the little blue gills off the dock. What fun! The bedrooms are all nice sizes with comfortable beds. The recreational area downstairs was especially enjoyable after the kids went to bed to shoot pool, play games and watch TV. We would 100% return to this location. It truly couldn’t have been better and there’s nothing I would change about our stay. The host was so kind to check in on us via email and make sure everything was going smoothly. I was blown away that she messaged us before our arrival to say we could check in early and also prior to our departure to say we didn’t have to rush out that morning. That was so appreciated, as we were traveling with our young kids who sometimes make timelines a bit more difficult. Thank you for that!!

Wonderful Family Place
Our entire family enjoyed this stay! The home is beautiful and we loved all of the little details that the owners included. The men enjoyed the fishing and caught brim, catfish, crappy and bass. The morning views of the lake were beautiful. The entire family enjoyed the game room (especially the giant uno cards). We will definitely be coming back to this property in the future!
