'The property is at a great location very close to the dunes, about 15 min drive. You can literally see it from your backyard. The property is exactly as listed and its very quiet if you're looking for the peace. The open space around is the best. My pup thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a little hiccuo during the first night but the host addressed it very quicklu.wr love the place and will return when we go back to the dunes.'

'The house was neat and quiet,each room had its own unique feeling of peace and relaxation. The country kitchen was awesome, and bar/family room was cozy. Enjoyed ping pong as well. The host was fabulous amazing intriguing and fun. We partied we saw the whole ranch, played with cows horses and dog. Unique location unique host. Must stay VRBO again. '

'We were tired after a long travel day, entered the home to discover the home smells of dog urine and the kitchen having mouse poop on the counter, Also discovered mouse poop by the sliding glass door and fireplace. I wouldn’t return to this home. '

'We loved staying at our VRBO in Alamosa, Colorado. Beautiful view of Mt. Blanca and other peaks. House amenities included deck with chairs and a grill, living room with futon and kitchen area, large bathroom with full size washer/dryer, separate bedroom with queen bed. Pet friendly (large dog crate provided), as well as a mud room for skis, shoes, jackets, etc. We loved the quiet outside at night. Would book again if we pass through the area.'

'We were very disappointed when we pulled up. There were 18 inch weeds surrounding the porch to get to the front door. Making it hard to get up on the porch. The front door was very very hard to open. Also there was a lot of dead bugs at the base of the tall windows. The rest of the house was okay and sufficient.'

'The Rustic Rook Resort is a fabulous new addition to the Yurt/Bin wave of alternative to hotel stays. It is just a few miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park that is simply awe inspiring and has fabulous sledding on the Dunes for the entire family. Excellent dining is about 20 minutes away in downtown Alamosa. The stars at night are incredible. We stayed in a Bin, which was less rustic than the name would imply. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our dog. We wouldn't hesitate...
