Also close to Zapata Falls, Alamosa, Splashland, Blanca Vista park and the most beautiful trails along the Rio Grande. Mt. Blanca was always present.'

'We were pleasantly surprised by the interior space—the pictures don’t do it justice. It is “out there,” probably 5 miles from Blanca, mostly over stone roads. There were no restaurants open in Blanca so eat in Fort Garland or Alamosa or plan to eat out of your cooler. A microwave and small fridge would be welcome additions, otherwise we were very pleased with the accommodation and Sue’s hospitality.'

'The house was neat and quiet,each room had its own unique feeling of peace and relaxation. The country kitchen was awesome, and bar/family room was cozy. Enjoyed ping pong as well. The host was fabulous amazing intriguing and fun. We partied we saw the whole ranch, played with cows horses and dog. Unique location unique host. Must stay VRBO again. '

'Our family stayed at Archie's Place for 1 night while we visited Great Sand Dunes National Park. Bedroom with bunk beds was great for our teenage boys. Kitchen was decently stocked and beds were comfortable. Great view of mountains from the front porch.'
