'Great place to stay - THE place at Gulhi. The only issue is the construction work next to the hotel (8.00-16.30 daily). Not a big issue for us. Very friendly staff and great service at the hotel (would recommend half/full board). Twice housekeeping per day is great! '

'What a wonderful stay we had. The hotel is right on the bikini beach so you step out of the hotel and BAM beach time. The hotel is clean and fresh and everyone has their role to play. Great snorkeling experience and felt safe and well looked after. Meal options are fab and the buffet dinner is a treat. We stayed in the deluxe room with balcony, room 1704 and it was amazing to see the sun set, beach from our bed. We met Anisur whilst dinning and he was always so friendly with us. ...

'Very friendly staff, trying to provide the best service to their customers. A very warm welcome with a complimentary drink, explanations about the hotel, the island, trips, ... Food was tasty and fresh. The room with city view was OK, good A/C, in my opinion a little dark because some other rooms located next to ours, so if you want some privacy you need to close the curtains. I would definitely recommend this hotel because of the friendly staff and the great food!'

'When I arrived at the property. The television was broken. I was not informed that it was broken before my arrival nornwas I informed the sla was under maintenance. After informing the manager she said there was nothing she can do about the broken TV. She informed her boss and he even said there was nothing they can do. I feel like the hotel should have given us a percentage off of what I paid becuase we had amenities that were not working. Normally I would not watch TV but due to bad weather I...

'一到飯店竟告知我們的房故障沒水，馬上帶我們到隔街另一間，房間很小又沒窗，我當下很生氣，拿出憑證告訴他，我訂的是24平方公尺豪華陽台部份海景房，而且這不是我原先訂的飯店，我很堅持要回我原訂房，他只好回原飯店然後給我原訂的房，根本沒任何問題，所以我覺得此飯店很不老實，早晚餐選項和量都很少，倒是餐飲男服務員很親切，到店付的6美元，給10美竟沒主動找錢，等退房時才跟櫃檯要，唉！不老實的飯店'

'A estadia em Maafushi foi maravilhosa! Amamos! A equipe do hotel é maravilhosa e atenciosa! Única coisa que poderia ter no quarto é uma cortina de banheiro ou box para evitar que a água espalhe por todo o local! No mais, vale a pena, sendo que o hotel está próximo de tudo, inclusive da praia de biquíni e de restaurantes e locais de passeios. '

'Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel.'

'We were upgraded to Kaani Palm - given renovations of Village & Spa. Very friendly staff, high service levels and great dining opportunities. Would recommend this hotel (and swimmingpool - infinity) to everybody. '
