The images shown of this property make it look very new, clean and modern. We paid a premium to have a better room on this basis, however we were disappointed that the property seems neglected in terms of maintenance.
We were not provided much information to check in with, and the whole process is automated. This made it difficult to understand what we had to do. We did not know which floor of the building the property was on or which room number was ours when we did get into the property. Our room had a sticker with our name on the door which doesn't seem ok in terms of GDPR.
As mentioned, the room at first glance appeared ok, but we realised upon entering the bathroom it is not in a good state. The toilet lid was broken (seen in previous reviews from months ago) and there was a horrible smell of sewage that we believe was either coming from the sink or shower. This was overwhelming and made it difficult to use the bathroom at all. The chair in the room is also soiled. These issues have also been reported in previous reviews and not addressed.
The breakfast consists of long life food which is fine, but did not feel worthy of the cost of the room. If you are last to breakfast, you will also find the breakfast room dirty from previous guests until the cleaner arrives as the property is unstaffed.
The fridge in the room didn't work and the air con was insufficient to cool the room.
Overall a disappointing stay.
