Amazing location right on the beach and steps from an adorable corner store/ice cream shop. Brief walk away from restaurants and the light house. The house had some quirks but all of those were more than over looked by how amazing Bob and his family were at making our family feel right at home for the week we were there. We could not have asked for a better week.
Suggestions for future guests: The lighter sleepers should sleep in the back 2nd floor bedrooms, closer to the living room tended to hear the carried noise.
Yes, there is only seating for 5 people for eating in the house. Bring folding chairs if you need/want more. we have no issue with laps.
Yes there are TVs but we couldnt find remotes. But all of the TVs had HDMI cords for easy laptop hook ups. We didnt spend a lot of time with TVs. The Xfinity Wifi was stable and great.
The Cell service is not great in the back deck or beach area (not the houses fault, its a beach). Verizon was a problem, TMobile was less bad. Plan accordingly.
Bring Sheets and bath towels. Things provided: FULLLL kitchen (including all grilling items, crockpot, coffee maker, pots/pans, cutlery, it was impressive). Also, pillows, comforters, 2 fans in the master, hand towels, and beach towels. also 2 life jackets for the 1 person kayak.
Quirks- the light switches dont make sense to most of us, it was a running joke, but thats mostly a new england thing. oh and dont park UNDER the house. its thick sand and your car may get stuck.
