'Amazing stay at Gathering Grains Farm. We have been to Brenham many times to attend the Antique Shows and have had to stay in the local hotels. Never again as long as Gathering Grains Farm is available. The “barn” guest suite is exceptional. It is clear that the owners want their guests to feel at home as attention has been given to every detail - even down to a loaf of homemade sourdough bread for a guest treat! The grounds surrounding the barn are quiet and peaceful with lovely country views...

'It is a beautiful property. We barely saw the owners however. I actually never even met him or her. I only saw some workers. There was nothing offered for us to do or anything shown to us on the property. There is a fire pit but there was no one to light it. And there is a barbecue grill but I would’ve had no idea how to start it. Luckily we had eaten a very late lunch or we would have starved to death. Lol. 'This is the most charming property. I stayed in the main house in a beautiful room on the ground floor. Everything is so well maintained, you feel as if you are living in your own lovely farmhouse. The owners have thought of everything - from the honor bar where you can grab a seltzer water or a snack to the delicious coffee you can make to kick off your day. I also love the pool area! Loved it all -- and can't wait to go back! '

'This was such a cute little house surrounded by greenery! We were staying overnight in order to check out antique vendors for our clients. This house is only about 15 minutes or so away from Round Top and its surrounding shops, so it's perfect!In addition, Lynn was great to communicate with over text. Fast and friendly!'

'The apartment is attached to a large red multi-purpose barn located on a country road that ends in a cul-de-sac. It’s a beautiful, rural area. The unit has a great kitchen and is clean and peaceful. I enjoyed watching the neighbors’ horses and chickens from the kitchen window. The host responded promptly to the few minor issues we had. We definitely hope to return.'
