"I was downgraded to a lower category room and it took 40 mins to check me in even though I had prepaid for the room. Instead of being honest about this, reception staff said “I’m sorry about the wait, I’m just trying to make your stay extra exceptional.” When I eventually saw the room and noticed that I had been downgraded, I went to reception again - only at this point did they admit that I had received a downgrade as they had no rooms available. Room credit of USD 44 could not he used in full as it was applied to the lowest transaction the the hotel rather than one where the full credit would have been used. The room was not maintained greatly. I had to remove limescale of the shower head to ensure flow of water. Shower gel had not been refilled when I checked into the room. I had to ask twice over two days until this was done. Location is convenient, especially if you’re looking to do some shopping. Restaurants have quite cool concepts, but no need to stay at the hotel to experience this. Staff on check-out also not particularly helpful, didn’t even ask how my stay was. I guess they go by the motto: “if you don’t want the answer to a question, don’t ask…” If you’re looking for good service, don’t choose this hotel."

"Al een aantal jaar achter elkaar verblijven wij in dit hotel, het hotel is gelegen op een fijne plek, mooi ruim hotel, netjes en schoon, behulpzaam personeel. Wat wel jammer is om te zien is dat de kamers er met de jaren minder mooi uit gaan zien. Van een mooie inloopdouche met glazen wand naar een wit douchegordijn, van een grote 2 persoons wasbak met opbergruimte naar een enkel wasbak zonder enige opbergruimte. Lades en deuren van de kasten sluiten niet meer goed, gordijnen zijn smoezelig. Wat mij betreft mag er meer aandacht besteed worden aan het comfort van de kamers. Overall, toch weer een fijn verblijf gehad."

"This hotel is situated outside the hussle and bussle of Brickell, but still very much within walking distance. There is a nice walkpatch across the street. A convenient super market is nearby for your grocery shopping. The hotel offers breakfast, but there is also a cafe next door with more variety and choices. One drawback is the very small swimming pool and the limited seating around it. Also the pool is shaded and therefore the water is not very warm. The hotel is located next to some railroad tracks and from about 5.30am trains/metros can be heard passing by regularly. Even on the 7th floor, this woke me up on some days. The room we had was a very nice size, although the bathroom felt a little cramped at times because of the location of the toilet vs the shower and the door. The hotel does not offer daily room cleaning, and we had to request fresh towels a few times even on days when the room was supposed to be cleaned. This was a little disappointing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we probably would consider to return here, provided the price stays around the same level"
