'We spent the New Year on Bute and the was in the perfect location not only for its views over the Firth, but also for exploring the rest of the island. It did feel a little chilly on arrival, but with the clear instructions we were soon able to get it feeling nice and warm. 'Vlak voor onze aankomst kregen wij bericht dat de schoonmaakster die ochtend door een ongeluk niet kon komen. We hebben toen zelf schoongemaakt. De eigenaar heeft ons daarvoor 50 pounds terugbetaald. Vandaar de matige score bij "netheid" De woning is mooi groot en gelegen op de 1e etage met een moderne keuken en drie slaapkamers met prima bedden. 'Lovely bright, warm flat. Very well equipped for a comfortable stay. It’s right in the centre of Rothesay so everything is on your doorstep.It’s on the second floor which was a challenge for our elderly dog but it means that you have a great view from the bay window in the living room.A previous review mentioned a lack of parking outside. 'This apartment was ideal for our 3 night stay while we walked the West Island Way. Comfortable, bright and cosy, with everything we needed for our stay. Fabulous view over Rothesay, the ferry terminal and beyond. Definitely worth the short steep walk up the hill to get there. Would happily return. '

'The property was falsely listed as having a bedroom with a king bed, queen bed and sofa bed in one bedroom – this led us to believe we could house all our family members with no issues. Upon arrival the room was not as described and had only a king bed and sofa bed which caused an unexpected inconvenience for sleeping arrangements. 'Het was een fijne plek om te zijn met zicht op Holy Loch door zij en achter raam. Soms legt een veerpont 's avonds aan bij de pier om dan 's ochtends weer te vertrekken.Ook als het weer niet geschikt is om er op uit te gaan kun je het er binnen toch gezellig maken en heb je een prima onderkomen. De sfeer van het huis zelf werkt er ook aan mee. Het voldoet verder aan alles en je hoeft je nergens mee te behelpen.'
