Starlights 4 - OCEANFRONT, buitengewoon uitzicht!

  Starlights 4 is een comfortabele unit op het tweede niveau met twee slaapkamers en een badkamer. De koningin slaapkamer komt uit op het dek aan de oceaan, waar u de zonsopgang kunt zien om uw spannende avontuurlijke dag te beginnen. De andere slaapkamer heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden en een queensize slaapbank in de woonkamer maakt uw slaaparrangementen een beetje flexibeler.
  Betreed de eenheid via de volledig uitgeruste keuken, die open staat voor de comfortabele woonkamer. De woonkamer komt ook uit op het dek aan de oceaan, zodat u kunt genieten van een picknicklunch met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan!
  Luister naar het geluid van de golven en laat het warme water het zout en zand afspoelen in een van de twee ruime buitendouches.
  U kunt zich verheugen op uw vakantie aan de oceaan vol met vers beddengoed, badhanddoeken en basisbehoeften zoals shampoo, zeep en papieren producten.
  Neem de community-promenade naar het strand voor plezier in de zon en zand tussen je tenen. Leer surfen, zandkastelen bouwen of gewoon relaxen. Restaurants, winkels, de vuurtoren van Cape Hatteras en de wereldberoemde watersportlancering van Canadian Hole liggen allemaal op slechts een klein eindje rijden.

Spring Getaway

Location, location, location
The property is right on the beach, you cannot get any closer and the space is very cleverly laid out. The bedroom facing the beach has blackout curtains (someone in an early review noted that there weren't any). The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Everything works well, check in is easy and Matt is a pleasure to deal with. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, we loved the place. .

Make sure u bring towels and washcloths. And no one in the area does set up for umbrella and chair rental. However Island cycle will drop off (we got two chairs and umbrella).

Great beach trip!
We had a great stay here. Matthew was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. The property was perfect for a small family. We especially loved the view and the deck. The beach is beautiful, but the waves here were a bit rough for little kids. We still had a great time, and we also enjoyed the Haulover day use area down the road on the sound side which was a calm area for the kids to play. Great proximity to shopping and restaurants. We would return!

Great times in Buxton
First time staying in Buxton and we loved the location. Everything you need in OBX is a short drive away, awesome food at Diamond Shoals, Fatty’s and great food and entertainment a short drive away at Pop’s Raw Bar and the Sandbar. The house was perfect for the 2 of us, everything that we needed for our trip was available. The views of the deck at sunrise and sunset are phenomenal. It was worth every penny just for the view of the ocean and beach. Once again the Outer Banks doesn’t disappoint, another year of wonderful memories. Now begins the countdown till we’re back down Highway 12!

Starlights unresponsive, poor service
Location on the beach within walking distance of the lighthouse was wonderful, and the condo itself was great, however, (1) installed microwave was broken from the start. We reported. Starlights promised to replace it with a countertop model, but this never happened even though there were several inexpensive models available at the Ace Hardware in Avon, just a few miles north of Buxton. (2) The bedroom's sliding glass doors open to an east facing balcony, but had only a set of sheer curtains that you could read a book through. The room was flooded with light at 5:00 a.m. each morning. I like sunrises, but also want the option to sleep late while on vacation. Once again, we were promised proper drapes, but none were ever supplied. Last of care and communication from management was very disappointing. Cannot recommend, and would not stay there again. ...also if you go, keep a camp shovel in your trunk as parking was limited and you will likely be sitting on soft sand! This wasn't a problem for us, but it's good to know if you aren't used to driving off of a hard surface.

What A View!
Look out any window in the front and see the amazing Atlantic! This location is perfect right near Avon and Hatteras Village. Matthew is a wonderful host and thinks of every detail to make your stay so comfortable. We miss it already and can’t wait to come back.

This place is exactly as described. The view can't be beat and the host, Matthew, is very attentive and available. We managed to work some by using the wifi and get in some much needed down time. Comfortable bed and more than enough hot water for a shower after a day on the beach.

Great place!
We loved our stay! Mathew was a great host, he was happy to help if we needed anything, very easy to get a hold of. The unit was very clean and close to anything you could need. The kitchen was well stocked. The linens were soft and fluffy. The property is RIGHT on the beach, which was awesome with our toddler. The outdoor showers were handy, and there’s also a table and hose to clean off your beach stuff which was nice. It was exactly as described in the listing. We are ready to book another stay here!

Excellent location... and absolutely the most gracious and generous host! He went above and beyond when he offered to and gave our daughter a couple of surfing lessons. Most impressive was being able to witness the way he jumped into the ocean with his surf board to save a young boy who was caught in a rip current!

When you get to your "apartment " you have your own digital code which is awesome so you dont have to keep track of a key. You are greeted with a little bowl of goodies! Amazing ocean front view. Not over populated so you have plenty of beach space without having anyone to close. Plenty of sleeping space with comfortable bedding. Has all the cooking supplies you need. Matthew is easy to get ahold of and very willing to help you with any questions you have or anything you need. Has a front and back deck so you can watch the sunrise and set! The paintings that were hung made you feel like a real home away from home. I would highly recommend staying at the starlight!
