'We had a relaxing stay in this well appointed beautiful house. The host is friendly and attentive. He responded promptly to all my communications. The house is spacious and comfortable. King beds were very comfy. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. '

'Lovely property with a set up that was perfect for our extended family group. Older couple with daughter, son-in-law and 2 kids, 6 and 3. The kids loved to pool and were in it every day. The location is in a quiet, leafy area just south of the main streets of Port Douglas a short 8 mins. away by car. The photos of the site are exactly as depicted. Plenty of towels and pool towels all provided.'

'Liked the private pool and the general one. Also liked the spa. Private pool was a bit dirty with leaves all around. Good to have a BBQ. Did not like that it felt like you had dirt under your feet all the time. All uo a great location though.'

'It’s like having your own private resort. Generous sized bedrooms. Separate sleeping quarters and granny flat from the house allows for a retreat from the main living areas. An added bonus, nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom with four bathrooms and five toilets in total - very beneficial for a large group. If considering booking during summer, keep in mind the living area is not air-conditioned and the pool is not covered. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas getaway. '

'Amazing, spacious mini mansion full of everything you could think to bring. Comfortable home and makes you feel like you are home. Booked 2 nights but should have stayed 4! We didn’t want to leave. Thankyou so much and looking forward to next time. '

'PRO: We loved staying here with family and kids - the deck and the pool are as amazing as the pictures, and it's a great location - close to Cairns / Palm Cove / other sightseeing or shopping spots. There were 12 of us and we found there was plenty of living areas and space (except the downstairs front bedroom is tiny and has almost zero cupboard space). Would definitely stay here again! CONs: - The house is a little run down, with bits and pieces missing or not working, and some of the sofas...

'The home, the property, and the communication with our host was nothing short of amazing. We were a little worried we’d have to cancel due to weather and flooding but luck was in our favor. The home is gorgeous and such a peaceful little oasis that’s stocked with all the essentials! We’d 10 out of 10 recommend this stay to anybody!'

3 buitenzwembaden, ligstoelen bij het zwembad

'Appartementencomplex is mooi opgezet. Goed uitgerust met voldoende borden, bekers etc. Zwembaden zijn goed verdeeld onder de diverse complexen. Dichtbij (5 min lopen) bij groot winkelcentrum. Naar Esplanade is het ongeveer 15 min lopen. Wij vonden het een heel fijn appartement en komen daar zeker nog een keer terug als we weer in Cairns zijn.'

Fijn hotel centraal gelegen.

"Super hotel met ontzettend net en vriendelijk personeel. Fijne kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad. Het zwembad was aan de koude kant in augustus. Lekkere cocktails bij de zwembadbar. Op loopafstand van de lagoon waar je lekker gratis kan zwemmen. "

"Het complex is wat verouderd en de 5 sterren zijn naar mijn mening twijfelachtig. Geen portier aanwezig om te assisteren met koffer als je aan komt bijvoorbeeld. Ook is het binnenste van het hotel in de openlucht gebouwd, daardoor hoor je de liftbel continue als iemand tussen de 3 en de 9 verdieping op de liftbel drukt. Wij zaten aan ze zeezijde, daar heb je wel een prachtig uitzicht over de zee en de heuvels. Het zwembad is wat klein, verouderd en er zijn niet heel veel bedden. Als je er verblijft, zou ik naar de esplenade pool gaan. Dit ligt op loopafstand van het Hilton. Verder is het prima georganiseerd en je krijgt een welkomstdrankje voor 20 dollar (2 personen). "
