'We stayed here for 6 nights, and enjoyed our time here. Although the rooms are a bit dated and worn, we didn’t expect 5 star amenities and it met our needs for the price. The hotel is very well managed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the menu is varied enough so that there are always a few things that that you might choose to eat. Also the prices are reasonable for an island hotel. This place does not see the hordes of daytrippers the hotels on the north shore...

'Un lindo lugar para hospedarse con las comodidades básicas, con mucha naturaleza y paz. Tiene acceso directo a la playa, muy limpia y tranquila. Dessyuno delicioso y buen servicio. El personal muy amable.'

'La estadía fue buena ya que la habitación estaba limpia, igual siempre llegábamos era prácticamente a dormir pero fue bueno llegar y encontrar un lugar bien con personal amable. No es la primera vez que me quedo aquí por comodidad y económia y porque el lugar está central de todo tipo de transporte para ir donde uno quiere, por estar ubicado en una zona de centro es un poco solo de noche pero nunca nadie se metió con nosotros. '

'I booked and paid on expedia, upon arrival the clerk tried to say i had not paid, then he tried to charge us more saying i had not paid the full price. I had to show him my records before he finally decided i had paid...it felt like a scam, he did apologize but it still felt like a deliberate act. Additionally while in the room, staff members would periodically enter the room and take pictures, i founf this to be disturbing. '

'Great stay at Masaya! Clean, good price, good location, nice and filling breakfast, and the room was fine. Would have liked drawers or a small wardrobe. Also, there were no windows in the room (small one in the bathroom). Noise not too bad - could hear our neighbours when using the shower. The live music and DJs were great, though regular music during dinner was too loud. We'd have liked more activities to get to know people, but not sure if we just missed these. Overall a really good stay and...
