'Een fantastisch verblijf, met een koel zwembad en goede zon bedjes. Een goede keuken met vriendelijk personeel. We hebben in twee verschillende kamers geslapen en de bedden zijn keihard. Verder ook een goede massage salon. '

'Het hotel ligt aan een drukke weg, maar je bent ook zo in het centrum. De kamer was prima, nadeel wel dat er maar een klein raam in de badkamer zat. Hierdoor weinig frisse lucht. Het ontbijt is niet veel en het personeel spreek geen Engels mag iets behulpzamer zijn.'

'We stayed here for 6 nights, and enjoyed our time here. Although the rooms are a bit dated and worn, we didn’t expect 5 star amenities and it met our needs for the price. The hotel is very well managed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the menu is varied enough so that there are always a few things that that you might choose to eat. Also the prices are reasonable for an island hotel. This place does not see the hordes of daytrippers the hotels on the north shore...

'Great stay at Masaya! Clean, good price, good location, nice and filling breakfast, and the room was fine. Would have liked drawers or a small wardrobe. Also, there were no windows in the room (small one in the bathroom). Noise not too bad - could hear our neighbours when using the shower. The live music and DJs were great, though regular music during dinner was too loud. We'd have liked more activities to get to know people, but not sure if we just missed these. Overall a really good stay and...

'I booked and paid on expedia, upon arrival the clerk tried to say i had not paid, then he tried to charge us more saying i had not paid the full price. I had to show him my records before he finally decided i had paid...it felt like a scam, he did apologize but it still felt like a deliberate act. Additionally while in the room, staff members would periodically enter the room and take pictures, i founf this to be disturbing. '
