'We came to get away from the dreary January of Kansas. We were able to work while sitting at the table with palm leaves and sunshine in the background. We found everything we needed. We walked to the beach every day and watched the surfers with the other beach walkers. We walked to Encinitas a couple of times- we loved it- live music, ice cream and a great hamburger at The Roxy. We were in walking distance to a local upscale market, pizza, bakery, fish shop and a thrift shop'

Additionally, we were unexpectedly awoken by chickens squawking in the side yard outside the bedroom window early in the morning. '

'We truly had a retreat in Cardiff! The house is just beautiful, so clean, all modern and comfortable furnishings and appliances. Beds are very comfortable, bedding and towels are top notch and plentiful. The deck is beautiful to watch the sunset. Location is excellent for exploring laid-back North county surf towns.
