'This place is remarkable— the views, the sounds, the breeze, the smells. This property has views of a very secluded beach. And you are in nature. Like in it in it. No windows or walls. The open walls and beautiful amenities make it a unique nature retreat. If you are squeamish about occasional bugs (or the stereo sounds of cicadas, howler monkeys, macaws) you should stay in a boring hotel. David is an excellent manager— Responsive and accommodating. '

'Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!'

'Our family of 4 stayed here comfortably for 4 weeks. We liked being away from the center of town yet super close to the ocean - we practically had the local Playa Negra beach to ourselves. The kitchen was well equipped, loved using the boogie boards, and appreciated the multiple house fans to supplement the AC (in one bedroom). The property manager was always quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Thanks for a wonderful month in Puerto Viejo!'

'The location is awesone, hidden in the backyard where, when relaxing on the porch, you can spot plenty of animals. Inside you'll find a spacious lining room and very modern bed/bathrooms'

'The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! After a long day of hiking, etc. it was so refreshing to end the day with a swim in the pool. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks...

'Unique experience surrounded by a lush garden. The curtains makes a very nice soft light during the day. Obviously in an open space you can't have AC... The heat can be a bit too much sometimes. Just be aware of that.'

'My husband and I stayed 5 days at Casa Verde. We had a very relaxing time there. The town is very small and everything is in walking distance. However, if you get a lot at the bigger grocery store, you might want to ask for them to deliver it for you. The beach is very close by. We bought two beach chairs to use while we were there and left them for others to use since there weren’t any. A few things to know: First, this house is very basic, just the essentials, no extras. 'We had an amazing stay. This is a gorgeous place for larger groups. Monkeys, sloths, butterflies all visited the property. The beach is a short walk away and the grounds are beautiful!'

'Quiet, secluded cottage with great yard on the beach. Many good restaurants, shops, groceries nearby. Easy access to other great beaches, a national park and wildlife nature preserve. Liked watching the leaf cutting ants and observing green and blue black spotted little poison dart frogs along with other wildlife in the back yard.'
