AFFORDABLE COMFORT

The perfect place for a couple or the business individual looking for the comforts of home away from home. Newly remodeled home has a nostalgic feel, up to date modern interior, and modern furnishings. Central heat & air thru out the whole house. Bedroom features a very comfortable queen bed, 2 night stands, dresser, make up mirror and chair, and a 42" Roku TV. Full kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook at home. Utility room has a full size washer & dryer and features a roomy walk in closet. The living room features two breakfast bars and four bar stools for a great dining experience! Two dining trays are also provided. Modern furnishings with 3 foot ottomans, 2 end tables, and a 42" Roku TV complete the living room. The bathroom has all the essentials needed and features a very nice walk-in shower. Private parking with room for up to a 30ft camper trailer or RV and 1 vehicle with an available 30 amp hook up. Work or play, this is the perfect place to stay!! **Extended stays are welcome. Inquire about rates and availability.

The property is very clean, well kept and presented. Owner is very helpful, has good restaurant tips and clear information about the house. A great place for a couple to stay in Carlsbad.

Great little place
Nice, small older home with lots of character. An iron and ironing board would have been welcomed. Travelers live out of luggage, which famously produces wrinkles in everything. Great place to stay and the bed is super comfortable!

This was a perfect place for me and my husband as we visited Guadalupe Mtn. and Carlsbad Caverns. It was so clean and had everything we needed. Donny was super communicative and checked in with us to make sure all was going well. The neighborhood was quiet, and there was a nice little park just steps away. If we return to the are we will definitely come back to this place.

The house was nice and clean. It was suitable for a couple since it had only one bedroom and bath. It had a nice AC that cooled the house very comfortably and the bed was very comfy. The neighborhood was quiet and Donny the host was very accommodating. The communication with checking in and directions to the house were very helpful.Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while visiting the area (Living Desert State Park and quirky Roswell) Thank you for a lovely stay!

This property is as advertised on VRBO. We rented it for its proximity to the Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet neighborhood.

Great Little House in Great Location
We stayed here for 14 days during a work transition and it became our home away from home. This house was perfect for our needs while we stayed in Carlsbad. It is clean, has a fully stocked kitchen with utensils and cookware, and the washer and dryer is a huge help/blessing. The host, Donny, is super friendly, helpful, and communicative. The house is located next to two parks in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. We will definitely stay here again next time through and highly recommend it to others.

Relaxing, quiet.
Nice, quiet spot to come back to while exploring Carlsbad Caverns. It was great to be able to do our laundry right at the house while relaxing. House is small, but didn't feel it, and had everything we needed. Also, in a nice quiet neighborhood, with a pretty church opposite. Donny, the host, checked in via text frequently to make sure everything was going well. Thank you.

Clean, well-appointed home near the parks!
We had a lovely stay! House was clean and neat, kitchen well-stacked to cook. Comfortable bed, quiet road. Only about 30 minutes to Carlsbad Caverns and under an hour for Guadalupe Mountain. Host was great with checking in and keeping us informed. We used the host-provided list of restaurants nearby for a few meals and really enjoyed our choices. Highly recommend!

Spring Break Getaway
My husband and I stayed a few nights as part of a roadtrip to see Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Cavern. It was a great spot to rest up after our hikes. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals. The bed was comfy and much needed for a good night’s sleep. Quiet location and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Great stay!

"The babysitter I don't want to share"?
You know how when you find a great babysitter for your kids, who's so good with them, and always available etc? And you don't want to tell your neighbors about her/him because then they won't be available for you? Well that is Donny Martinez and his place in Carlsbad. He is 100% that guy, super kind and responsive, and it feels like home when you are there. I give it 5 stars +. Just please don't use the place when I need it! ;) -Tom

A Nice Stay
Our host was organized, professional, welcoming and helpful. My husband I stayed three nights for a Carlsbad Thanksgiving visit. Our place was clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to our family. The kitchen was helpful for prepping a couple of dishes. We would return here for our annual Carlsbad Thanksgiving.

Good driveway
The property was just what we needed. We mainly booked it for the driveway. We had a jeep pulling a uhaul trailer and it was advertised as having the space. There was a trailer parked the driveway but still had just enough for our vehicles.
