On The Water ........ rustieke Elegance ........ adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen

Deze woning is gelegen aan het meer Glenville met gemakkelijke toegang tot het meer en dock. Lake Glenville ligt op ongeveer 3500 voet hoogte en wordt omringd door de Blue Ridge Mountains. De zonsondergangen zijn prachtig en kan worden genoten op het dock of vier decks.
Bootverhuur is een klein eindje rijden, die een kans om de hele meer met watervallen, grotten, visplekken, zwemmen, enz. Te zien geeft Natuurlijk kunt u de boot te rijden tot aan het dok in het huis, lunchen of pak een picknickmand. Dit huis is voor degenen die antiek en handgemaakte artikelen waarderen. De drie verdiepingen hebben vier slaapkamers, drie badkamers en twee halve baden. Er zijn extra lange tweeling, koninginnen en een koning en twee slaapbanken slapen 12. Huur het slot op het eerste niveau of de bovenste twee verdiepingen of het hele huis met drie niveaus. Er is een keuken op de derde verdieping, een volledige keuken op de middelste en eerste niveau. Zo, het huis is ideaal voor een of twee families.
Slechts enkele minuten van het centrum van kassiers met vele uitstekende restaurants en winkels. Als je moe bent van het zijn op het meer of liever niet te koken zijn er uitstekende restaurants in de buurt. Kassiers is ook in het centrum van het zuidwesten van Noord-Carolina, die meer watervallen dan elke andere locatie in het zuiden heeft. Uiteraard op loopafstand zijn er tal van visstekken en wandelpaden. Slechts een klein eindje rijden is golfen, raften en casino's.

We had the best time staying at the house. It's spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay with family. The boat dock, fire pit, hidden room for the kids, lots of deck seating, and a terrific view of the lake were all highlights.

This was the perfect place for us. The water was just deep enough at the dock for my father in law to get us on his pontoon and I’ll miss waking up to the incredible sunrises and lake views. The home had everything we needed and the owner was responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Long Weekend

The house was beautiful and the location is excellent. Very clean, with just enough to keep us entertained. Close to Cashiers, to make running to Ingles Grocery Store convenient. Lake was perfect and the boat rental beast, just rent early. Hostess helped locating boat rental. Highly recommend this VRBO rental.

We had a fantastic stay. We loved waking up and walking right out to our boat at the dock. The house was great for our 2 families. There were master bedrooms on each of the top 2 floors and and the bottom floor had 2 bedrooms which was great for the teenage kids. They had their own “apartment” with a private kitchen and family room. Each floor has a balcony with great views of the lake. They also have a great fire pit out back on the lake. We loved learning about all the antiques in the house.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a bit surprised that it was a multi unit property, but it was still a great layout and plenty of room on each floor to spread out. We really enjoyed the fireplace! The hosts were very thoughtful.

What a wonderful house in such a beautiful location. House was more than a great place for a late summer retreat with the extended family. It was super clean, has a huge kitchen, awesome bedrooms, and an unbelievable view. We even had a bald eagle visit us a few times! The property owner was amazing and always responded promptly.

Amazing Thanksgiving

Great spot on the lake

Papillon is a large and very accommodating rental for adults as well as children. The owner was very responsive and very helpful. Our family absolutely loved the location on the lake, the lake activities, and the large, very clean rental. We definitely want to rent again in the future.

Beautiful location right on lake, comfortable and well appointed home

Wonderful setting on a blissful lake, with a well appointed and beautifully decorated home. It is a duplex which means you will roll the dice on how quiet the other family is immediately next door. The furniture and beds are lovely and our family of 7 was very comfortable. Only issue for us is that the cleaning staff wasn't complete when we arrived after 5pm, but it wasn't a huge deal. Owner was responsive and cares that you are happy.

Great Thanksgiving at the Papillon Cashiers, NC

We loved our stay. The house is very roomy. My husband and I had the master bedroom suite upstairs with a sitting room and small bar for coffee. Very private. We had a lot of family in the area. It was nice to have 2 kitchens to cook and get the meal done at one time. The grounds are very nice. The house is on the lake so we know it will be a perfect place to be with family in summer. The owner was very gracious and very willing to make our stay enjoyable. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful mountain retreat

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic weekend in Cashiers attending our niece’s wedding. We had a great reunion seeing family we haven’t seen in awhile. Not a happy end

It is a shame we rent this property with the hope of having a nice place, from the first day we claim to the owner the lack of cleaning. After we finished our stay we left the place as we found it, to our surprise the owner with any notification submit a claim with a list really Incredible only based on the comments of the housekeeper we complain about the cleaning. We rent in NC every Christmas never had a problem. Stay away from this owner, there is a lot of properties in this beautiful area. Pedro Bazán

Nestled in a private neighborhood overlooking lake Glenville this home was spacious, inviting and accommodating. With its own private dock, we were able to bring our boat and other various water toys and felt this retreat was home away from home. Only a few miles from cashiers, where grocery, coffee shops, devine boutiques, art and antiques shopping and yummy eateries can be found! Owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to any inquiries about the property! Cant wait to go back!

Lots of space!

Description of the property was accurate and the owner did respond quickly to questions. Four children and significant others with their children (8 adults, 4 children, 1 baby). We never felt like we were on top of one another. Loved the three decks. One couple had to share two twin beds in downstairs bedroom, and we moved the three kids to the large couch on the same level. Cute secret room for the kids. Bring your own spices😄Wildlife around (raccoons/bear) at night looking for garbage. The beach area with dock was great for the kids but plan on getting plenty of exercise going up and down all the steps to get there! Only two parking spots at the house but had no problems parking in the Adjacent Club Parking area. " Papillion " is attached to another rental home "Briarcliff". That owner allows pets. When we were there, two large dogs were left out on the deck and barked at everything. Had a nice week overall!
