'After several days in rural Vietnam in wonderful home stays this was a great change. A fabulous location in a well maintained resort with stunning views from our 14th floor balcony of two private beaches. Buffet breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful. Cat Ba city beach front was completely under construction with the Party engaging in a massive building project filling land for a new project right in front of the present beach. It's really a mess there now and I wonder how property...

'Booked a family room for 2 nights, and actually was suprised how good the room was! A lot of space, nice bed (blanket is only a no for me, not really soft), bathroom is also big. Celebrated the birthday of my hubby in this hotel, I brought some balloons and asked if the staff could fill the room with the balloons for me while we’re away. 'Fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, large and beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Hotel is in a very central location and the hotel serves an excellent breakfast in their restaurant. We loved our stay here. '

' The guy from the information about trips was really friendly and good. The hotel itself was okay but in the corridors guests were noisy, which was disturbing. Also the breakfast was not very nice and the pool had unclear water. '

'Great hotel with super friendly staff, family run hotel. good reasonable food, great happy hour, walkable to the town centre but up hill! Only negative is the smoking in the lobby, pool table, roof top terrace area. Did not realize it was smoking hotel or I would not have booked but overall a great stay! '
