'As always, hospitality is defined by the people who provide it. The hotel staff was magnificent in this regard. From the breakfast servers to the front desk, everyone was kind, helpful and wore a smile. A special mention for the cleaning staff who did an excellent job every morning. Breakfast was delicious with options such as eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict, although as a continental European i would have liked to have seen some cheeses at the buffet. What else is there to mention? Free...

'Nice hotel but it is looking dated, and rooms are a bit tired - they need some TLC. Lots of peeling paint, tiles lifting, and just generally feels a bit unloved. The hotel itself is a rabbit warren - lots of small staircases. It is an old building but ideally would be refurbished. Breakfast very good and staff lovely. Would stay again, but it does just need a bit of love.'

'Loved the reception staff nothing too much trouble. We arrived back from our show quite late so no food asked reception for room service but as can’t eat bread sandwiches were a nono for me but sandwiches were delivered for my partner and sandwich fillings for me absolutely delicious and complementary too. We will be back to see you again '

'Good apartment to stay at. Could occasionally hear the neighbours but nothing distracting. Good cooking equipment but did have to go and buy some stuff in. The cutlery was dirty when first arrived but a quick wash fixed that. Comfortable bed. '
