'Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. 'Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und ist schön. Unser Zimmer (Beach Cabana) war in gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle freundlich und haben sich sofort um jegliche Anliegen gekümmert. Der Baustellenlärm war etwas störend, hielt sich aber in Grenzen. Das Restaurant ist direkt am Strand, was toll ist. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben'

'Great location, awesome friendly staff and great food ! It was quite off the grid but perfect for 2-3 days to wind down. The back is the best in the island ! Only downside, the room was described with partial ocean view but it was actually in the backyard on the bottom floor, no ocean view and below the kitchen which was quite noisy till about 10:30pm'

'Merci à notre hôtesse et patronne des lieux Francine pour ce séjour exceptionnel et inoubliable sur son l’île d’Urraca avec ses singes tous mignons et le décor unique. Nous aurions aimé y passer plus de temps. '

'Nice simple rooms. It was clean and you had the amenities needed. Breakfast in the morning was good and you can see lots of fish from your deck. The taxi boats zooming past are more entertaining than annoying '

'Gezellige bar, terras en restaurant. Fijne ruime kamer en behulpzaam lief personeel . Gelegen aan strand waar ook hangmatten hangen en ligbedden staan. Het zwembad is niet groot maar prima voor mijn kinderen, alleen was er veel bezoek geweest ( bar-restaurant) en daarna was het water erg vies en 2 dagen vies/groen geweest. ( personeel deed z'n best te reinigen, maar er waren teveel kinderen met zand-zonnebrand ed in geweest) Het eten is heerlijk, veel mensen komen daar dan ook gezellig eten....

'Amazing ecolodge in a great location. It really is it’s own paradise. Very quiet with amazing food. The French hosts were all so kind and thoughtful. I stayed 3 nights and wish I would of stayed all 5 nights here.'

'The owner and the other man ( didn’t get his name) are super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was clean and spacious with hot water and comfortable bed with good aircon, the kitchen in the apartment was well equipped so you could cook easily, the communal kitchen was also well equipped and clean.also nice and quiet area Would definitely stay here again, '

'Aangenaam welkom, eigenares is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, mooi verzorgd rustig zwembad, ruime kamer. Buurt iets minder aangenaam, redelijk ver van centrum, eetgelegenheid, weggestoken achter tankstation, en parkeerplaats van werkvoertuigen.'

"When you get over the fact that the water is not always azul and it's not the paradise you where expecting by all the pictures -because the accommodation is not living up to the standard you expect for the price you pay - you can have a real enjoyable stay at Azul Paradise. Staff was very friendly. We dit the village/forest tour with Calypso and enjoyed it! Use the boots he offers :) Also the trip to the chocolate eco farm & garden was great. Both highly recommended. Our advise to the owners: the stairs outside are not easy to use and not clean so very slippery, same goes for the swing, some days the bed was made, other days not, the sheets where clean but had stains on it, the save was not working, include breakfast in the price. Advertise more honest (it is also a great place also when the sun is not out, adjust the price to the standard you are offering). "
