'A very nice property that has lots of amenities. I do wish our room had more storage. Only two hangers in the closet. Could have used hooks and bench by the door for hats and jackets. A dresser for clothes would have been nice, especially since there were such limited hangers in the closet. Also would’ve appreciated the option of having recycling available in our room.'

'We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!'

'The home was lovely. A little disconcerting to have any traps on the kitchen counter though. Tried to contact owner for departure instructions and they never answered so we just did what most vrbo renters have asked. Also, instructions regarding entry need updating. Talks about turning something but it is digital and you need to hit the lock symbol. Also, we brought steaks for the bbq seen in photo. It is a pellet stove. We are unfamiliar with that and there were no instructions. A beautiful...

'Great property for a group of 20! With 4 refrigerators and 3 dishwashers, food storage and cleanup was a breeze! The outdoor space looked like it would be beautiful as well. It was just too cold when we were there. However, we did have a family polar bear plunge! Brrr. Highly recommend this one!!'

'Very cute A frame cabin. We stayed in the winter and had a great time ice fishing. The cabin was great for my husband and I and only about 25 mins from local restaurants and downtown Alex. Can’t wait to go back!'

'This property was well appointed. The kitchen had any appliance, utencil or cookware needed. Lots of space for friends to spread out. We enjoyed the game room with darts and po the most. We loved the large island to play group dice and card games. Owners were vert attentive to any needs we had.cards.games.'

'Chris and Kensie are outstanding hosts. The details in their home were above and beyond what we were expecting for our quick work weekend in Detroit Lakes. The bath salts were my personal favorite after a long day. We were able to bring our pup and after forgetting to bring his dishes, we found a water and food bowl just for our good boy! Great location! Hope to come back for a more fun getaway next time!'

'This was the perfect little home for our stay in Alex. David was great to work with, he had left us a pack and play and high chair for our baby with was very thoughtful and handy. He also came and shoveled the sidewalk when it snowed which was very much appreciated. House is clean, the temperature does vary throughout the house but it did not affect us and our stay was still comfortable.'

'We stayed 3 nights (all family members) and our dog and we had a fantastic trip!This rental property is great for small or larger groups.Plenty of space to relax alone or gather together.It was very clean and well supplied. We would recommend a stay here… Hope to be back in the summer months!'

'We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately our room was not ready until 4:15 and when we went to use the shower mat it had blood on it. Our room was not properly cleaned and was late for check in due to “cleaning”. I had asked for a late check out and I got an abrupt no you’ll be out by 11. We rushed to get out by 11 and left a stuffed animal behind. I’ve reached out and not heard back. '
