'Just booked a balcony room through expedia. Was looking forward to the pool. When arrived there seemed to be construction works. All balconies closed, pool closed, no breakfast. 'The beachfront location is beautiful with a very nice beach. The hotel was very nice, but what made it outstanding was the staff. Everyone there was just so very nice and especially Cameron at the front desk was exceptional! Their walls could be a little more soundproof. And some of their prices for drink and food were very expensive. '

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'Room was clean, air conditioning worked great, all amenities we needed except a suitcase fold- out holder. Had to open suitcase on the floor 👎. They did text to see if they could do anything for us. Loved the outdoor bar and beach bar!!! '
