Extremely poor service of staff. Do not listen to requests, delay in everything. My experiences:
1. Room was not ready upon arrival, even at 4:30 PM when I arrived.
2. In room dining - I had to make 6 calls, order was not placed. Finally I called again 7th time snd still it took long. Took 1.5 hrs for in room dining to be deliver at night especially when I jad already gone to sleep.
3. Breakfast next morning - no professionalism, pointed to me to the table that was so far to even see. What happened to Indian hospitality?? To take your guest to the table and settle him in. Then when I got to my table, table was dirty from previous guest and had to call 3 times to clean.
I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never stay at The Lalit in Chandigarh. I will subsequently be putting feedback and reviews to all platforms. I was traveling from New York, USA and was shocked to see the service when I was expecting Indian hospitality. Forget hospitality, the staff did not even perform basic services for guests.
