Family Stay

We had a wonderful stay with our grandparent (>80y) and kids (9&17) and dog. The house was perfect for our different generations. Grandparents stayed downstairs with their own bathroom and the rest of the family was upstairs. Kitchen was perfectly equipped. We played outside, did some fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Highly recommended.

The house was in a perfect location as you felt that you were on the lake but still very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The downside was the kitchen had basic utensils and the grill needed to be cleaned before use. We battled ants in one bathroom the entire trip. If you are looking for a fishing get-away, this would be a great place as there was plenty of refrigeration space for your catches and a nice screened-in porch to enjoy.

Scenic Oasis

Our extended family gathered to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. We had enough bedrooms to suit us all. The kitchen was well supplied for our meal preparation and there were many places to sit indoor and outdoor to eat and relax. The open concept of the kitchen, dining area, and living room felt spacious and easily accommodated all of us. The water view, deck, and screened in porch were enjoyed by all!

Family wedding

We booked this home because we attended a family wedding in the area, and this was the closest property to the venue (including hotels). It was absolutely perfect with 5 beds! Wish there was 1 more bathroom, but the kitchen was outstanding, and the view was very relaxing!! Nice large tv to watch Thursday night football in the leather recliners!! I totally recommend this home!

Fun family trip

The house was nice for large family gatherings, the area has much to do and the house provides enough room for all. I would ask that the listing be updated as it states there is a kayak and paddle board available which are not. We were able to rent a boat and dock it on the property which was nice. My elderly parents were also able to enjoy the stay with us as well. I would advise anyone with family members with mobility issues the stairs could be difficult but luckily 1 bedroom and 1 bath are on the main floor. All in all a nice place, nice location and nice price.

Awesome Place to Stay

My family and I rented this place for the holiday season being originally from the area, but not currently living here. It is located in a very nice area on the lake, and is an easy jump onto any of the highways for exploring the area. The place was very clean and you can tell the owners take pride in the property. The only negatives I have at all about the property are: -Seems to be a bit of an ant infestation, but it seems like its a known issue as there were ant traps sitting on a shelf in the pantry and we just put some out. Quality of toilet paper was really lacking and I would suggest bringing your own. Overall, great place to stay and we really enjoyed our time there. I can't say enough nice things about the living room area and how cozy the fireplace was.
