Licht en privé COS-appartement van 1100 m² met 2 slaapkamers

Dit lichte en ruime kelderappartement met 2 slaapkamers van 1100 m² biedt gemakkelijke toegang tot winkels en de snelweg, waardoor het een geweldige "thuisbasis" is. Het steunt op een natuurlijke ruimte die vaak lokale dieren in het wild aantrekt. De ramen in de hoofdruimte zijn boven rang zodat ze veel licht binnenlaten en je het landschap buiten kunt zien. De grote witte vensterputten in de 2 slaapkamers laten ook veel licht binnen.
De ruimte:
De keuken is gevuld met keukengerei, magnetron, koelkast / vriezer en kookplaat (maar geen fornuis / oven).

We zijn ongeveer 1/4 mijl verwijderd van een trailhead naar Preekstoelrots, die ongelooflijke panoramische uitzichten op de hele bergketen biedt; we raden deze korte (maar redelijk moeilijke) wandeling zeker aan.

Centraal gelegen:
- 5 tot 10 minuten van theater en restaurants / winkels
- 10 minuten van Air Force Academy South Entrance
- 15 minuten naar het centrum van Colorado Springs
- 20 minuten naar Garden of the Gods
- 25 minuten naar Colorado Springs Airport
Gasttoegang:
Je hebt volledige toegang tot het hele appartement. Er is een (redelijk steile) oprit naar de voordeur, maar het kan een beetje moeilijk zijn om achteruit te rijden. We zijn gelegen aan een doodlopende straat dus wees alsjeblieft respectvol voor onze buren bij het parkeren.
Interactie met gasten:
We wonen boven, maar over het algemeen zie je ons alleen als je dat wilt. We zijn beschikbaar via Airbnb of telefoon / sms om te helpen met alles wat je nodig hebt.
De buurt:
De Preekstoelrots is een gevestigde buurt met veel grote bomen. Het is afgelegen maar centraal We zijn een korte 5 minuten lopen naar de ingang van Pulpit Rock Open Space.
Zich verplaatsen:
Je zult centraal gelegen zijn op minder dan 5 minuten van I-25 of Academy (belangrijke noord / zuid wegen) met veel winkels, restaurants, enz. Off van beide. Dit is een huis in de voorsteden, dus een auto wordt je beste vervoersmiddel (geldt voor het grootste deel van Colorado Springs).
Andere dingen om op te merken:
De voordeur van de ruimte is behoorlijk moeilijk te openen. We werken aan een oplossing hiervoor, maar in de tussentijd is een goede sleepboot nodig om de deur open te krijgen (na het ontgrendelen natuurlijk).

Nice Stay
We had a nice stay here. The neighborhood felt safe and the location was close to everything. The only issue was the door was hard to open and shut but my husband was always able to get it. The space was clean and good for the price.

Tried to communicate with host prior to the stay and was unable to do so. Kept getting messages from 'assistants' and asked for them to call me so we could resolve an issue, they never did. I tried calling their number and it went to an answering service. I would stay away from this property.

Had my son and daughter stay with us but there were no extra linens until the next day. The couches were not very comfortable-pretty saggy and the pull out bed was uncomfortable. Parking was pretty limited and tight. The space was very clean though and there was room for us all to sleep.

A real nice place!
I liked this place. It's clean and comfortable and ideally located. Guests should be prepared for some minor noise from the residents above. I was fine with it once I discovered a small fan in the closet with which I created enough white noise to make it ignorable. It's definitely a good place to stay.

Wonderful property and located in a great location. It is very quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay. My only recommendation would be to have a more comfortable bed. Otherwise, no complaints and would totally come back.

Great location near USAFA
The rental is in a nice neighborhood and really close to USAFA. The queen beds in the two bedrooms were comfortable. Unfortunately, the fold out sofa was completley UNACCAPTABLE. The matress was stained and the coils were protruding upwards and thus could not be used-- until at least the matress is replaced, the unit only sleeps 4. The sheets for the sofa sleeper were old and fuzzy. The two blue sofas in the picture were probably the most uncomfortable sofas i've ever sat on and WAY past their usage time expectancy. We had five family memebers listed but the unit only had 4 sets of towels. We did contact mgmt and they brought a few more sets of towels and another set of sheets, but they did not do anything about the unacceptable matress. Also, they REALLY need to invest in a coffee table-- maybe when they get new sofas they will. So in summation, if you have a max of 4 and you ONLY are there to sleep, it's fine, but you can't really be comfortable there unless mgmt invests in some MUCH NEEDED UPGRADES. The kitchen table chairs are metal and NEED cushions too. In light of the above, we felt the rental was over priced.

Family friendly
This property is modest in price and a great value for families in a safe residential area. We stayed in the two bedroom unit with a spacious living area, kitchenette, bathroom and laundry. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was because we could hear people thru the walls and I am sure they could hear us but this was not an issue at night. I would stay there again if circumstances permitted.

Clean, lots of amenities.
Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with a refrigerator, dishes, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher. No stove, but a toaster oven. The bathroom had soap, shampoo and conditioner, a blow dryer and of course, towels and washcloths. There was also a washer and dryer. Since it was on the bottom floor, each bedroom had a small heater. The host checked in with us to see if there was anything else we needed. I liked it that they had a "whisper" policy at night, but if you wanna party loud, it's not for you. 😊 But for me, it was nice!

Pros: Location & Communication Washer & Dryer Cons: Small crumbs of what appeared to be Dorito chips under the dinning table, refrigerator and freezer had not been cleaned. The apartment is a basement so you can hear people walking. (Mostly after 7 am) The noise is loud at times, but very quiet at night. I would stay again because of the location in town and the location in the neighborhood.

Great communication with owners
We had a very brief stay at this property. We booked it for 4 nights and through a series of events with travel difficulties and family only stayed one night. It is clean, has all the basics you'd need, great communication with the owners. One thing I would point out is this is a downstairs apartment and we could hear the people upstairs quite clearly. That is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review. I knew from the listing people lived upstairs but did not expect to be able to hear them like we could. I appreciated that the owners checked with us making sure we had an easy time checking in and asked if we were needing anything during our stay.
