'Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee.'

Wij vonden het erg jammer dat toen wij er waren erg veel verkeer langs kwam. Men rijdt daar geen 30 km per uur maar raast voorbij. Wij zijn vanwege het geluid van slaapkamer verhuisd. 'Loved the communication and timely responses with our hosts. The location was walkable and loved the trail down into town. Everything was roomy enough for 4 adults, and the balcony view was great. The quaint accommodations were suitable for our brief stay. '

'Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. Absolutely incredible experience seeing this beautiful and quaint corner of the world I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have an authentic Italian experience'

'Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen mit traumhafter Aussicht auf den Comer See. Kommunikation und Schlüsselübergabe hat hervorragend funktioniert. Vielen Dank, Serena Whirlpool wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt, ist aber leider nicht vorhanden. Parkplätze direkt vor der Unterkunft. Straße vor dem Haus auch nachts stark befahren und laut.'

'We were greeted upon arrival by Davide with great local information. While space was limited, it was smartly done and worked great. Location was perfect for us. Could walk to Como or hop on the ferry which is about a minute walk. We enjoyed wine each evening on the balcony, which was the highlight for us. Amazing views of the lake and surrounding areas. If we make it back to Lake Como, would hope to stay there again.'
