'This is a cottage behind an apartment building that was very quiet, but close to shopping and trendy stores. It was comfortable and clean and just right for a visit to my son who lives in the same area. Thank you, Chris!'

'The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The apartment was comfortable and clean and in a safe charming location. The streets around the property are hilly and very steep. The kitchen has a microwave and fridge, no cooktop or oven. All the windows are on one wall in the living room/kitchenette area and they face an outside wall, so there is no view. 'It could have been great… the apartment is nicely updated and tidy, but DIRTY! The good news is, this is an easy fix and I hope the homeowner will take heed. The bathrooms and kitchen were dirty and full of the homeowner’s personal items-weird and gross! Additionally, the beds were like sleeping on a slabs of granite! We stayed two nights, and between the dirty bathrooms and uncomfortable beds, we couldn’t have faced another night! '

'Exactly what I was looking for! I was visiting family over the holidays and needed a place to stay nearby. The Casita exceeded my expectations. Quiet, clean, easy check in, comfy bed, treats, toiletries and a great layout. Melodie is the most responsive host I’ve ever interacted with. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit. '

'This cute little hotel is located very close to the Chinatown gates, bus stops, restaurants. There is a little market up the road for some groceries and cold wine/beer. The pub next door has good food. It is an older building with a narrow winding staircase, but it does have an elevator. It does not have that old building smell, though! The room is spacious with large openable windows (no A/C). The sofabed in this suite is incredibly uncomfortable and needs replacing. Fortunately I only had to...

'Cute and quaint beach house ideal for enjoying during the warm weather seasons as it is the perfect distance from the sand. Unfortunately the rain prevented us from spending much time at the beach. We chose the wrong time of year to stay somewhere like this as we didn’t get to fully enjoy the amenities like the cozy patio or nearby beach.. '

"The location is perfect, spacious room with good beds. The breakfast is simple and can use a little extra, everything is sweet with no healthy options except a small bowl of yoghurt or an apple. Reception staff on arrival didn’t seem to have a good day."

"Het hotel is gedateerd , vitrage was gescheurd en handdoeken worden niet verschoond, je moet zelf achter nieuwe aan . Ook je bed wordt niet opgemaakt . Geen rustige omgeving, veel overlast van verkeer vanwege druk kruispunt Van Ness/ Lombard . Ook in de nacht verkeersoverlast . Net personeel en aardig . Goede locatie dicht bij de Fisherman’s Wharf "

"Very convenient location! Right next to the piers and public transportation. Almond croissant was terrific but other options at breakfast limited or very expensive. They also place a cc hold for incidentals, which is quite high ($400!) and hasn't been released almost a week after checking out."
