Kia ora!
From the hilltop you will view the Mangonui shops. If the sun entices you and it tickles your fancy to make a wee commute over shore, you could bring your kayak and life jacket and paddle your way towards a morning coffee or dinner at the nation's famous fish and chip shop or better yet… both!
For you animal lovers, we encourage you to share your stay with the donkeys or alpacas! Both of whom are docile and receive newcomers well. The donkeys likely will love a scratch and the alpacas will watch you soak up the sun, curiously, from their corner.
Fire pit equipment is available for use, but you must contact the owners before lighting one, to ensure the regional fire risk is low during your stay.
And to top your holiday off there is No Cleaning Fee charged!
The cabin is just a 10 minute walk from the main property, isolated from the farm’s main-stayers, but close enough to reach out should there be any concerns during your stay. Lynley's contact information can be found at the footer of this page.
The property owners, Lynley and Michael have known the Northland region for their entire lives and are more than happy to debrief you either upon arrival or at any point during your stay on the local hotspots and attractions. However it is totally over to you and no offence shall be taken if you wish for us to remain completely out of the way!
IMPORTANT. If you bring any watersport equipment, are after a paddle or just keen to sunbathe, feel free to make use of the jetty at the base of the cabin. Do note however that we rely on quests to make consciously informed decisions around water safety and weather conditions, therefore we will not take any responsibility for anything that happens upon the use of this facility so please be water wise!
Nb, there is Damage Protection connected with this property. (Please see house rules)
PLEASE NOTE: Low profile cars are not suitable for the driveway access, you should not stay if you have a low profile car.
