'Lovely hotel is very peaceful surroundings. Designed primarily for families. Rooms small but they do cram a lot in with bunk beds etc. mattress not great and noisy a/c or ventilation system. Hotel does lack a lounge area or patio. Just the Tavern or restaurant in the evening. Staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. Perhaps not best for more than a few nights. '

'Fair for the price in my opinion. The carpets and curtains have seen better days, but everything was properly clean, ignoring permanent stains/damage to the carpet etc. The walls are thin so you're at the mercy of your neighbours when it comes to noise. The included breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly.'

'I can't really recommend Room 20. Squeaky stairs next to the room wakes you up every time someone passes. The shower is either very hot or boiling..it was impossible to adjust and not possible to reach anyone to ask how to adjust if possible at all.'

' nice comfortable hotel, not aware of a so called cashless policy, when i was in possession of good old cash,and,not knowing the balance of my card. my wife and i had to dine out else where,'' your barman needs further training,came across as surly,could;nt be bothered to call last orders or better still ask customers if they required another drink before closing the bar,,, other than that ok'

'Nice and very friendly people. Hotel is well furnished and my room was clean and had good a bed. Dinner was however over the 2 days stay not perfect. Especially the meat was not of a perfect quality (advise: look for a different butcher) also the Chef was not aware how to make a good steak.'
