'This location was a great find. It's right next to 101 N/S on ramps, very close to dog friendly beaches, and not too far from any store you need in town. Private, fenced yard was a huge plus for the dogs.'

'We had a lovely little family trip. Loved being on the water. House was warm and comfy. Washer and dryer a huge plus! Would love to come back. '

'We were very comfortable in this space. If only it was warmer and we could have had coffee on the patio. As is common in N California, the smell of mildew was very prevalent in the bathroom and bedroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker. But we loved being able to walk just down the street and walk the dunes and beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was easy to locate and a good starting point for our visits with family.'

'Adorable, well maintained cottage with great privacy. Walk to Hammond path should be a priority, fern walk cannot be beat! Bring your wine, a good book and enjoy an evening listening to the waves. Pure relaxation.'

'Loved our stay. The Library is so cozy and comfortable. We did a lot of exploring of the surrounding area while we were there and it was so nice to come back to this little retreat to relax after a long day. It’s also just a short pleasant walk into town and we loved walking around the cemetery and seeing the view of Ferndale from up on the hill. '

'I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. '

'Snug Harbor was a cute cottage that made a great home base for our family of 6 to explore the Redwoods. Our kids loved the badminton and ping pong in the yard and I loved the peaceful ocean view and sounds, especially in the early mornings. The gardens were amazing and Beth even had fresh cut flowers waiting for us. '

'Just good down to earth folks. The house reminded me on my Grandma’s house. She died back in ‘05. Great for children and I good place to talk.'

'Beautiful views of Clam Beach and comfy beds! We stayed 3 nights and found the property well appointed. Beautiful hot tub and plenty of private outdoor space to enjoy; we particularly enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pit. This was our second stay there and we will definitely be back!'

'The house was as advertised. It's a very large 4 bedroom home. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, glasses, etc. There were plenty of towels and the washer/dryer was a bonus. The street was very quiet and we felt very safe there. It was easy to get around Eureka from that location.'

'I had the most wonderful stay at this lovely little space tucked away in the forest! The setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by towering trees, fresh air, and the soothing sounds of nature. "Sfeervolle kamers, prachtige lobby, een pand met geschiedenis bovendien! Overal hangen schilderijen van beroemdheden die hier ooit gelogeerd hebben. Ontbijt tot halftien moet je wel letterlijk nemen: om 9:20 was de koffie op, om 9:45 was de deur naar de ontbijtruimte op slot."
