'The room was very well appointed and renovated but still had a fair bit of rustic charm. The staff are unbelievably nice and accommodating ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. The value for the price is unbeatable - free delicious breakfast buffet and snacks. 'We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills. 'I had a great stay at Y Pengwern Hotel. The room was super cozy, spotless, and had everything I needed to feel right at home - perfect for winding down after a day out. I really appreciated the extra heaters they provided—perfect if you like the room toasty and warm. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. 'Room especially the toilet was huge and comfortable. They also gave very large towels which was great. Only gitch as the housekeepinb fell short on the last day - the bins werent emptied and the floor towel was not replaced.'

'An enjoyable weekend break, the room was very spacious with a large bathroom and powerful shower. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a self service breakfast was available with cereals, bread for toasting (there was also bacon, scambled egg and beans available). 'Verblijf mag schoner incl. afzuigpunt in badkamer en tja....kitten van de badkamer was super slecht. Richard was best aardig en vriendelijk maar vreemd blijft wel dat je 's morgens zélf naar de supermarkt moet om je broodje te halen met beleg terwijl ontbijt in de prijs zit, schijnt meeneem ontbijt te zijn.....verder doodsaai dorpje '
