'Myself, my kids and their spouses, my grandkids, 18 of us, had a wonderful time at the lodge. Plenty of room to spread out and big enough spaces to all come together. The house and grounds are beautiful, the pool and fishing pier were used daily. Close to Kemah and Galveston for a night out. When items needed to replaced it was done promptly and the host was quick to respond. Our trip was cut short by two days due to Hurricane Beryl, but we will be going back in the Fall.'

'Beautiful property just as described! Mitzi is a very friendly and attentive host! Hubby and I felt like we were in our own oasis; very private! Also, great restaurants nearby. We ate at Topwater Grill Saturday night; good seafood minutes away. Use live bait for fishing! '
