'Everything about Kereru Cottage outdid our expectations. Beautifully presented and maintained inside and out with everythjng we could possibly need for our 6 night stay. Appreciated the comfy bed & cotton sheets. The surroundings of native & exotic trees frequented by native birdlife including ruru at night made us forget we were only minutes from a busy motorway. Would thoroughly recommend. '

'What a fabulous weekend. Amazing spot, everyone is so friendly and love the cottage. Just what we expected. Would definently come back and stay again!!! Had issues with our pickup and owners of the cottage kindly drove us to the wedding event up the road. Thank you for an amazing weekend!!!'

'Relaxing stay just out of town. Lovely birdlife and gatdens. The accomodation was of high standard and very clean and comfortable. Close to Matakana and the coast. Our host Kim was friendly and informative and available if help was needed. Overall a great experience'

'Super clean and stocked with everything you might ever need in self contained accommodation. Just like being at home and the supplied towels and linen are an extra luxury.'

'Really enjoyed our break there, cosy and warm with the fire going (bit smoky to start with but worth it once it's roaring), and the walk along the South Head beach is superb. Not another soul for kilometers.'

'We spent 7 nights at Moana Cove and felt like we had been transported to a far away island, except it was just a hop, skip and a jump away! We loved walking through the bush to beaches, kayaking through the mangroves, walking through Mansion House, visiting the boat club for a meal is a must! And lazy sunny afternoons reading and watching the tide go in and out. Sharon and Rob were great hosts, giving us privacy but always incredibly helpful if we needed anything. Hope to be back!'

'Having the lock box at ground level was a pain given the hall lights were not working. Be good if it was at eye level. The property was neat and tidy. Had all we required. Would've liked internet though! Nice being upstairs for breakfast on the balcony. Great having a 4 Square right below us.'

'Loved the country atmosphere, peaceful and quiet. Cottage had all the mod cons. Very roomy with two bedrooms and bathroom laundry, we made use of. Easy access to shops and restaurants, and of course the starry nights topped it off. Thanks Sue for letting us stay there….'
