'Interesting experience. Cool staff very friendly and even asked if we wanted a late checkout which was the a first for us! never been offered that before and you’d never get that anywhere else. Definitely a weird vibe though in the hotel and rooms. Think it’s a combo or the smell and the rooms. Something you’ll definitely have to experience for yourself I can’t really describe it. Felt like we were the only ones there until we finally saw another guest. No coffee or tea in rooms which didn't...

'Perfect location. Rooms are dated. I don’t like it when they say that your room is available but because its a few hours to early (because of an early flight) you have to pay 25 dollar extra. Room was not clean (empty packaging latex contraceptives) behind the bed. Als in tower 3 there was somebody “welcomes” you with a wheel you can turn to win a 120 minutes time share meeting…..'

'Hotel room was small, but that is too be expected of a vintage (1913?) Hotel. Had everything we needed but just small. In my opinion, right in the sweetspot of the gaslamp district which made driving in and out for day trips easy. The rooftop lounge is a nice amenity and I used the one push, get 8 ounces of hot coffee instantly, coffee machine a bunch of times over our stay. Staff was friendly and courteous.'

'Great location and very friendly staff. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Despite our room facing the road the noise was minimal. Only minor inconvenience was the elevator. Not efficient. Definitely recommend staying there and would choose Hotel Z again.'
