Hotels met airconditioning in Downtown San Diego

'Friendly and very responsive staff. They checked in daily to fulfill any needs from check-in to check-out. Located in a prime area of Gaslamp, located near great restaurants, nightclubs, bar, and comedy. I will book again when I revisit the area. Rooms look just like the picture and very spacious, great view and large windows that actually open. Now for the con: minimal power plugs by the bed and nightstand, and you could hear the guests conversation and snoring next door to me. I didn’t let it...

'Convenient location for baseball, rooms were nice'

'Perfect location. Rooms are dated. I don’t like it when they say that your room is available but because its a few hours to early (because of an early flight) you have to pay 25 dollar extra. Room was not clean (empty packaging latex contraceptives) behind the bed. Als in tower 3 there was somebody “welcomes” you with a wheel you can turn to win a 120 minutes time share meeting…..'

'Overall, I liked the hotel. I have never stayed at a hard rock hotel. It looked very exquisite. The only thing is I was expecting to have a city view and I was put in a room with the view of the courtyard that was disappointing. Besides that the hotel was OK I probably wouldn’t stay at it again given another chance to go to San Diego, I would look for other hotels, but since it was last minute, the hard rock was decent as far as price and location. I give it 3 stars'

'What I did not like : 1. Lost toiletry tems during our stay. Though some mile points were given, but we faced real inconvenience during our stay due to this. 2. Booked for two nights., But got an email from front desk to reconfirm our stay as the room service personnel felt that we have left the hotel. This is really inappropriate for a branded hotel like Mariott'
