'Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends.'

'I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended '

'Lovely property in a peaceful location. Facilities were great, lots of care has gone into providing a very comfortable holiday home. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of a day out exploring. The welcome bottle of prosecco was a lovely gesture. We all had a great stay. '

'We booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend.'

'Cottage was easy to find and the instructions to get the keys from the key box were easy to understand. The village is a quiet rural community, up a steep hill from the local pub with no other facilities but it's a short drive into Ashbourne. The property is nicely decorated throughout with all mod cons. The bathroom is as good as it looks in the pictures. A shame that there is no garden and minimal roadside parking.'

'If we could pick this lovely cottage up and take it home we would. Second time staying here and loved it just as much. Everything sparkles and it has everything you need. Shame about the wet weather but wasn’t too much of a problem as it meant we stayed in and chilled.'
