Also we think that the central location is perfect. Everything north and south of the island is reacheable in under 1 hour by car.'

'Fun resort with many different daily activities for families. Set on the fantastic east coast of Zanzibar, Diamonds Mapenzi gives you access to a beautiful beach with warm water and sports (additional charge). Food tasted good and staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Would stay here again '

'We had a wonderful 10 days stay at this hotel. The service is very good and the waiters and waitresses very kind and service orientated. The environment is beautiful. Everywhere beautiful flowers. The gardiers arrange that the environment looks very nice every day. The accommodation is good. Well worth visiting.'

'Herlicher Strand , leider, da der Strand öffentlich ist , viele Beachboys , aber mit Ignoranz schafft man den Weg zum Wasser :-) Zimmer sind sehr schön, sauber, und nicht zu verlebt/ noch in guten zustand. Wir hatten das letzte Haus zum Stand und Pool , Nachts hörten wir das Meer.( Wir dachten zuerst, die Klima wäre kaputt).Super, wir hatten keine einzige Mücke im Zimmer.Das Essen war Gut, Italienischer Koch , jeden Tag eine leckere Vorspeise, Rest vom Essen war OK; Doch freundliches Personal,...

'Virkelig dejligt sted, hvis du vil have fred og ro. Pæne store værelser, swimmingpool. Tæt på øde strand, med tidevand. God service og meget venlig personale. '

'Mooi en rustig hotel direct aan het strand. Mooie, schone kamers welke dagelijks (er goed) schoongemaakt wordt. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Restaurant is goed maar niet echt vegan friendly ookal wordt dat wel aangegeven op de kaart. Prijzen komen niet overeen met wat staat vermeld op hun menukaart.'

'A wonderful hotel. Personally welcomed by the general manager Angela. Beautiful beach on your doorstep. Went to La Base Kite for lunch. Some points of interest: Cleaning fitness room and equipment. A number of devices are also broken. Follow-up of reported malfunctions is not yet well developed'

'Travelling such lengths as Oslo - Zanzibar, you don’t want any surprises upon arrival. Thankfully, the only surprise which met me was AirFrance losing my baggage. The stay at Kivuli was far better than I dared to imagine, and I loved every second there. 'The resort is Ok and the staff is nice, rooms are good and clean. Main disadvantage are the big distances o be covered between room and beach and between room and restaurant. Just too long. The hotel is too big for me... Furthermore not really flexible. "No, it is not possible" seems to be the default answer to customer questions.'

'Very friendly staff everywhere ,I could mention a few (alibaba ,Suleiman, the waiters animation front desk they are all a good team).the Villas are perfectly designed and decorated .they compound is kept clean all through. What I wasn’t really pleased was the variety of foods, I missed local foods on the daily basis ! The drinks on all inclusive were terrible especially the juices .'

'Wij hebben onze huwelijksreis doorgebracht in dit geweldige Resort. Er zijn slechts 10 lodges, verdeeld in 20 appartementen. Dit betekent een maximale capaciteit van 40 personen. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en totaal niet opdringerig. Het eten is dagelijks vers met een Italiaanse knipoog. Wij kozen voor all-inclusive, wat ons erg goed is bevallen. Veel vers fruit! Je kunt vanuit het Resort excursies met gids boeken, wat iets duurder is dan via de Beach-Boys, maar wel uitstekend...

Check in was very impersonal and after a full days travel we were required to line up again to fill out an pay the government tax, surly this can be done anytime during the stay. The person who took us to our room gave us no information about the place room wise or resort wise. They talk a good service ethic but as far as I was concerned service was non existent. 'Beautifully laid out, beach right out every front door, very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, great food and a quiet but still family atmosphere. You can tell the owners give a lot of attention to the details. Pool was so clean and beautiful. Also the landscaping was stunning and gave it an upscale resort feel while still having an intimate feel. They set up an excursion and airport ride and made the whole process easy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and would stay here again!'

'Hotel is van Italianen, zijn ook gericht op Italianen, alles in het Italiaans, elke dag pasta, daarnaast de all inclusive, wil je echte koffie dan moet je er €3 voor betalen. Aan het strand staan beachboy's bieden trips aan ( helft van de prijs van hotel) naast hotel een massage van een dame die op het strand werkt, super massage. Het is er heel veilig, kan rustig strandwandeling maken. Wel een prima service.'

'From the time I arrived to the hotel both of the front desk people were so nice a male and a female(i am horrible with names unfortunately) I had to wait for my room to check in, which was not an issue. I sat at fhe beach for a while then had lunch. The hotel isa small boutique hotel and i loved the seclusion. Every day wqs beautiful there and my oceanfront room was gorgeous. All the foods and drinks were amazing! 10/10 had the best birthday vacation I've ever had and they made it very special....
