'Hotel is iets verouderd, badkamer erg klein, deur raakt het toilet bij het open en dicht doen. Zwembad was erg mooi met fijn warm bubbelbad. Service perfect. Prima adviezen over wat er te doen was, waar we zeker heen moesten en waar we konden eten. Supermarkt aan de overkant van de straat. Verder geen restaurant in de buurt, dat was jammer, maar met de auto binnen een kwartier bij een restaurant.'

'Comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower. We enjoyed our stay at Buxton. Easy walking to all of the interesting restaurants and stores on the main street and to Dennison. You need to understand that this is a historic facility. If you are on the 2nd floor, no elevator. They could also make it easier to find an open plug for CPAP and recharging your phone. The included breakfast fell a little flat. Overall, however, I am very happy to recommend this inn. '

'Hotel was decent for the price paid. A bit dated and hallways felt run down. Rooms were comfortable and clean although the heater woke me up everytime it turned on through the night. Beds were nice and comfy. Hot and cold was switched in the sink and I thought there was no hot water until i figured it out. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise since they had eggs, waffles and sausage included with the basic breakfast items. '

'Came to town for a competition. booked a hotel and left because it was disgusting. Booked at Holmes in and made my way there. Everything was perfect except the windows. They used blinds which made the morning come early and bright....too bright'

'Fun hotel with uniqueness. Check in was fast and easy. The first time I ever got a “check in beer”! Room was great ( except the neon light over the bed that couldn’t be switched off). Walking to the room smelled great overlooking the Sour Room. Spent some time at the lobby bar after restaurant closed. Friendly staff and fun crowd. Morning breakfast was good. Small selection, but good quality. We look forward to returning in the future! '
