'Overall things were fine. Some things could use updating. In particular the heat system was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. Mind you we were there in October for fall colors. Mattresses could use a refresh too Host was awesome and I would consider renting again.'

'As described, great location walk to everything. Host very responsive, nice area, would stay again. No crowds, not everything was open but enough to fill a few days! Close to petosky and Mackinac.'

'This little gem is our secret quiet space. Always so clean, just the perfect size and a tub to melt in. After we relax a couple days, plenty to see and do in the area. We found a new state park to explore, enjoyed a local resturant and wallowed in the big comfy bed all the next morning...see you again next fall!!'

'The host Maureen is absolutely wonderful! We were concerned about the weather for our original dates, and she let us modify it to the following long weekend where we had beautiful 80 degree days full of sunshine. We also rented the Pontoon with her local tour guide and we didn't want it to end, it's an absolute must-do! Thank you so much Maureen, my family and I loved it!'

'We love having our extended family from Atlanta, New York, and Boston in Michigan for the summer, and nothing is more enjoyable than staying on Walloon Lake. This year, we had a wonderful week in this charming cottage! The cottage was just as described and made for a sunshine and lake-filled vacation, with plenty of common areas to play games and share family meals. The large porch is a highlight, allowing for amazing lake views at all times. We look forward to returning and again enjoying this...

'Clean and quiet. Close to lots of thing to see and do but very nice if you just wanted to relax. I liked the info packet we were given when we arrived, very nice touch. Also ate at the Dockside just down the road, good food.'

'Rabbit Run was a beautiful home with many amenities. Chuck, the owner, was there to welcome us when we arrived. He was very hospitable and informative about the area. The home had everything you needed and it was within walking distance to town. We would return again.'
