'The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for the 13 of us. The big kitchen, pantry and long dining tables made for fun interaction. The game room with pool table and ping pong table were perfect for after dinner fun. Beautiful property on the river. We plan to go back. Historic homes are tough to maintain and our hope is that it is as nice in the future as it was this week.'

'This is a beautiful property. We had a lovely view of the sunrise on the mountain before we drove to Hunter to ski (about 11 miles / 16 minutes away) and then enjoyed the living room fireplace each evening. The property is close to both Hunter and Phoenicia for breakfast, dinner, or shopping but quiet and secluded enough to feel private and restful. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy breakfast by the creek and dinner on the large deck.'

'Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication by the property manager. They were awesome!'

'The house was great. It's new and had everything we needed/wanted. Thre was a small deck where the BBQ grill was located and there were plenty of seats and tables on the lawn. We had a great time BBQing. The yard was not fenced, but had natural vegetation separting it from the other properties. We loved the community pool/beach/tennis court. The pool/beach was just a few houses down. The doggy beach was small, but that didn't stop our dog from going swimming. The community dog park was not...

'Overall the stay was nice. The inside of the home was very neat and tidy. My complaints would be that the outdoor BBQ hut grill was not clean. Also, we were unable to use the hot tub because the chemicals were very overpowering. It was kind of a bummer not being able to use those amenities but otherwise we had a very nice stay.'

'The view lives up to the pictures - it's a stunning location at the end of a long private road - very quiet and lovely. The house is well-appointed from a furnishings standpoint, with a couple of quirks and age spots, but nothing major for distractions. Biggest things to note - bring the little things you might want, especially for food, etc., because there isn't much around to run out to (which is a plus in general, but when you wish you had milk for your coffee...), and light sleepers be...

'We decided on a trip to Hunter Mountain with our family and some of my sons friends. I came across this house and let me tell you the pictures do not do it justice it’s even better in person!! We were beyond happy with the house and the location…. The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine. So much room for our group of 13 including our golden retriever! The kids and adults loved the game room some adults even had a Pac-Man competition. We will definitely stay at this house...

'This location was perfect for a summer getaway! Walkable to downtown, great outdoor area and deck space, including grill and hot tub. Host was very responsive. Multiple golf courses within driving distance along with some convenient hikes made this a great place to stay.'

'We travel to the Catskills at least once a year and stay at various locations. What sets this property apart is the true seclusion and absolutely no distractions from the nature around you. Even though it is close to hubs like Wyndham and Hunter (less than 20 to both) when sitting outside it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Inside is clean, cosey by the fire, and lots of fun things to do with our teenagers. Definitely would stay again.'
