Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. '

'The house is really clean and cosy in a quiet neighborhood. For a drink/ dinner or shopping you need your car for a 5 minute drive. The owners are really friendly and helpful. '

'Vriendelijke eigenaar, fijn verblijf. Alleen jammer dat er vanuit de cottage geen wandelingen gaan. Alles moet eerst met de auto. Het huisje was schoon alleen de pannen waren vies en ook de bank was niet helemaal schoon.'

'The rooms all have large beautiful windows and we appreciated all the day light. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood with many shops and dining options. The apartment had a well stocked kitchen and there is a food market right next to the building which was so convenient. We were in the apartment for 9 days during the Fringe which was wonderful. '

'We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud!'

'Location excellent. And, photos accurately show current condition. The manager/owner and I have had a constructive dialogue which I hope will improve his property, specifically, buying new mattresses (as the current ones are soft and sinking), adding hangers to the wardrobe, adding hooks for damp towels to hang, and, fixing the leak from the bathroom that resulted in damp conditions in the larger of the two bedrooms. Manager/owner was responsive to my concerns and cooperative. '

'The apartment was located in a very central location which was fantastic! We were able to walk to the majority of our sightseeing adventures. Unfortunately the water/pipes in the kitchen were loudly squeaking, disturbing the family throughout our 5-day stay. It also may be time to refresh some of the bedding; pillows, comforters, & sheets.'
