Mooi appartement in het historische New Town van Edinburgh

Gelegen in het Stockbridge gebied van Edinburgh, aan de rand van de UNESCO World Heritage site, is het pand ideaal gelegen voor het verkennen van Edinburgh historische oude en nieuwe steden, met het beroemde Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse en de Royal Mile slechts een korte afstand .

Stockbridge heeft een grote verscheidenheid aan winkels, speciaalzaken, restaurants en bars ligt op enkele minuten van het pand. Andere attracties zijn de botanische tuinen en het water van Leith Walkway.

Dit laat 19e-eeuwse pand is over de eerste en tweede verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht over twee van Edinburgh's mooiste Georgian straten. Accommodatie bestaat uit een indrukwekkend salon, vier slaapkamers (elk met een tweepersoonsbed en de 3 grote slaapkamers hebben een extra eenpersoonsbed), twee badkamers (een met douche en de andere met douche en bad) en een volledig uitgeruste keuken met fornuis. Extra functies zijn onder HD Cable T (alle grote sport-kanalen beschikbaar), DVD, CD en video (met een selectie van cd's, video's en dvd's), draadloze luidspreker met bluetooth compatibiliteit, hi-speed draadloos internet, telefoon en een selectie van de raad van bestuur games. Het appartement beschikt over vele aantrekkelijke historische kenmerken, zoals een open haard in de salon en een sier kroonlijst op de salon plafond Het is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen, in de perfecte stad voor uw vakantie.

Als we iets kunnen doen om uw verblijf aangenaam te maken, zullen we! Wij zorgen voor de basisbehoeften voor uw aankomst (thee, koffie, melk, brood, suiker etc en toiletartikelen in elke badkamer). Als u een 'verlanglijstje' van de extra items te worden gelaten voor uw komst, gewoon vragen. Doen we vragen een minimale verhuurperiode van twee nachten, en soms meer tijdens de piekuren.

Sensational house!
Absolutely gorgeous house that is on a quiet street, but still a short walk from the royal mile, Edinburgh castle, etc. We never needed our car while there, and if we didn’t feel like walking, there were bus stops close by. The house was beautiful, and I felt like royalty staying here. The hosts were so sweet and responsive, I will 100% stay here again if I return to Edinburgh!

Absolutely Amazing Home
I loved the accommodations and used the word "Home" in the title because I felt at home, The home has spacious bedroom and a wonderful dining area and family room. The Kitchen was well equipped and we actually cooked a few meals during our 5 days stay. Bus stop out front just a few steps away. The beautiful fireplaces, crown molding and lovely decor was like a 5 star hotel just with more room and a full kitchen. The owners responded with a few minutes with a couple questions we had during our stay. There we ample number of door keys for large family or friends. Beds were very comfortable and enjoys the rooms with the king size beds and queen size beds. 2

Lovely location, great house, not so good for oldies
We really enjoyed our time at Comely Bank, the house is lovely, and the location is convenient for taxi-ing into central Edinburgh. It was restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. However, most of our party were 70+ years old, and the need to step in an out of the bath on the upper floor in order to take a shower was a bit of a concern, as there were no grab bars on the walls. This would make our party think twice about staying there again. But other than that, all was good!

Amazing property
We cannot recommend this apartment enough! It is even better than the pictures look. The living room is grand, the bedrooms are a great size and a lovely kitchen. The neighbourhood is just 15-20 mins walk from the city centre and a beautiful area. We had a group of 8 adults staying and had plenty of space, it was great. Entry process was simple and contact from host made everything about the apartment and area really clear. They even left a loaf of bread, tea and coffee for us which is a lovely touch.

UNA CASA ESPECTACULAR
Lo primero es agradecer a Rona su atención, es una mujer fantástica y tenía la casa preciosa y muy cuidada. Es un placer hospedarse en una casa donde realmente te sientes como en la tuya. Todos los detalles cuidados al máximo nivel (mantequilla, leche, pan). Las sábanas muy limpias y con un olor extraordinario. La ubicación es perfecta a unos 15 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad y con buenas conexiones de bus. Se encuentra en un barrio muy bonito y tranquilo, donde hacer la compra es cuestión de 5 minutos andando. Ojalá algún día volvamos a esta preciosa ciudad y seguro que a esta maravillosa casa. Amazing flat, great neighborhood
My husband and I brought our four kids (6-12) to Edinburgh for the first time and fell in love with this flat and the city. We plan to stay here again when we return. After a whirlwind week in Ireland, we were excited to have three whole nights in the same place, and it was heaven to be able to spread out -the upstairs bedroom with bookshelves and window seat couldn’t be more charming, but all of the rooms were so lovely, and comfy beds to boot. We loved the surrounding neighborhood and found it to be the perfect home base with lots to offer away from the hustle and bustle but also convenient to the city centre. We took the bus down each day. Excellent communication with Rona and, as I told her upon our arrival, this was the first place that we rented on our trip that I felt met and even exceeded its online description. Highly recommend.

Excellent Property
Lovely location with everything we required within walking distance. The area was quiet and it was easy to forget you were in a major city. Loads of room for 4 adults, pleasantly decorated, comfortable rooms and extremely well equipped. Sitting in the bay window seats watching the world go by was really relaxing and the walks from the door were really enjoyable especially down to the Water of Leith and across the park to the Botanic Gardens. Highly recommended.

We had a great week at the festival fringe. The house was ideal for a group of 10 - spacious and well equipped with everything we wanted. We walked into town every day at least once and used the local shops for the few things we needed. Communications with the owner were prompt and straightforward and everything worked out well.
