'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Three bedrooms gave everyone their own space. Well equipped kitchen for family get together meals. Sitting outside to watch the ocean right out front during the day was amazing and star gazing at night was unbelievable. A memorable stay!'

'Great place. Everything we needed including beach towels and coolers and umbrellas. The staff was very accommodating. Parking spot was tiny and inaccessible, but others were empty so we used them. We had two centipedes and some flying cockroaches visit us, but that wasn’t about cleanliness, just the reality of the area. Would return!'

'We moved over to the condo after spending a week at our timeshare. The location is great. Lots of beach towels and bath towels. Kitchen is fully stocked. We did apricate all of the storage containers. We were able to park in the upper lot and not the underground. The air conditioning is great. Also, the screened in Lani was nice in the early morning for breakfast. We would stay here again.'

'Chose this house because of location. Our first time on the big island so wanted to visit both Hilo and Kona side. Location allowed for good options each day as it was less than 2 hours from Hilo, and only an hour away from Hilo . House is great and host is super responsive. You can tell how much this house is cared for. The home is somehow cozy and spacious at the same time. Very charming decor and has a ton of stuff for family nights. Our family has 2 adult children, one teenager, and two 12...

'The property location and spectacular views from the condo were exceptional. The condo was very clean and found it exactly like the photos. Well appointed kitchen. Living area including bedroom area and adjacent bathroom were beautifully decorated. Could not open the sliding glass door on the lanai to let in breeze. We were not given the correct address for the condo in our paperwork supplied to us. Had difficulty locating condo as address given was the Knutson office. Very quiet unit...

'We had a marvelous stay in Volcano, the house is spacious and wonderfully decorated. We loved the kitchen and back patio + private jungle backyard. We were disappointed the Jacuzzi was not working during our stay but Mindi made up for that (and few misses by the cleaning staff) with the gift of some amazing live orchids from her farm, that arrived after we got back home! Highly recommended!!'
