'Very nice hotel in excellent placement to downtown Helen. The property is in great condition, the breakfast is hot and offers eggs, bacon, biscuits, waffles, fruit, cereal, and muffins. Hot coffee and various juices. The city park is directly behind the hotel on the river. Beautiful area '

'We traveled to the area for some winter hiking on the nearby Appalachian Trail and luckily chose to stay at the Lake Chatuge Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff, our room was large and comfortable, adequate breakfast, and a nice bonus for us; clean and economical laundry machines on our floor. Great nearby locally owned restaurants and retailers too. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 2 additional nights. We will definitely return for our next North Georgia mountain hiking...

'This property was a bit higher in proce but it was clean with friendly staff. I appreciated the free coffee and tea available at all times. I also felt the location was perfect for exploring Helen. Most shops were within walking distance which was wonderful considering the parking lots were pay to park in town. '

'Quiet, peaceful. Good place for relaxation. Close to downtown shopping and dining. But, all advertised amenities were not yet available, somewhat of a disappointment. '

'It was a great secluded location, not far off the main road. Room was like a one bedroom apartment almost. Value was excellent. We had an end room, with fireplace, big common area back rocking chair porch. It had an efficiency kitchen with table and chairs. Large bathroom, updated walkin shower and a jacuzzi tub with another shower. I would only suggest freshing up the decor. Ditch the dated (but not dirty)gold carpet for lvp flooring first! Furniture was nice mohagany and with a freshing up...
