'Buitenzijde is prachtig, maar binnen is sterk aan renovatie toe, wij kregen een kleine kamer aan de achterzijde. Het zou prettig zijn om bij het boeken ook een foto van de kamer te hebben die je daadwerkelijk krijgt. De plaatjes waren prachtig, maar resultaat valt in praktijk tegen daardoor'

'We had a lovely view towards Torquay theatre & harbour from our room. Breakfast was buffet style with hot & cold options. We ate in the Brasserie/Compass Bar area for our evening meals. Food was not cheap, but it was delicious! Had the lightest sticky toffee pudding ever! Room was a decent size with a shower over the bath. Tea & coffee making available in room/supplies refreshed. Hotel was nicely decorated fir Christmas. Staff were very helpful - thank you! '

'There is an enormous lack of maintenance for the building, estate, garden. Outside swimming pool. Only some rooms have been renovated. The floors in the hotel are uneven everywhere, so that the beds are standing skewly on the floor which causes a very bad and unhealthy nightrest. This hotelis not worththe money we paid: nearly 200 eur per night for 2 adults and 1 child. The personnel is very kind, always ready to help and doing everything they can to make customers satisfied. '

'Hotel was good, but a little tired, our only criticism was that our room never had a visit from house keeping on a daily basis, apparently you have to request it, unfortunately no one told us this. We would like to mention the receptionist, TRACEY who sorted a couple of problems we had efficiently and promptly, very pleasant throughout our stay '

'Good stay, with a large comfortable, spotlessly clean, homely, well equipped apartment. Friendly staff. However, there were a couple of niggles, the TV was really small, old fashioned and not smart so no access to streaming services etc. There was also a surprise charge for daily electricity usage, which wasn’t mentioned during booking, and could really add up if you were staying for a few nights or more. '
