Dit huis ligt aan Texanna in Sandy Bass Bay 3, dicht bij de stranden van het strand van Lake Eufaula en dicht bij twee lanceerplatforms. De andere kant van hwy 69 is het Lake Eufaula State Park met vele soorten recreatie. Er is een grote met bomen omzoomde voortuin met voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor de gasten en speelgoed. Beneden heeft een eethoek, een kitchenette, een complete badkamer en een woonkamer met een glazen schuifdeur naar de patio. Bank maakt in twee aparte bedden. Boven is een ruimte met een eenpersoonsbed en een kast aan de ene kant en een queensize bed aan de andere.

De locatie hier is correct, maar GPS herkent ons adres niet. Om uw GPS-locator te gebruiken, kunt u het adres invoeren als 421464 Big Sandy Drive, Eufaula OK 74432. Ga alsjeblieft door naar het allerlaatste huis aan de rechterkant.

A peaceful night's stay in a lovely location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shady Rest in Eufaula! We were only there for an overnight stay and wish that we could have stayed longer. The area and the house were very quiet - our sleep was awesome! We were traveling with dogs; they really enjoyed the calm, quiet neighborhood for their walk the following morning - we felt completely safe walking on the streets of the small community and were treated with a beautiful sunrise over the lake. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our brief stay. I was particularly enchanted with the super cute washcloth display in the bathroom - I'm not sure why, but it made me smile to see so many washcloths arranged like art. The hosts were friendly, but fully respected our space and privacy. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Charming and quiet

The place is cute. Quiet neighborhood. The owners are so sweet and kind. There dogs are adorable. The only thing was the floor downstairs was very dirty and there was no broom so I could clean it. There was garbage in the garbage can and garbage under the main bed upstairs. Other than that clean and cute. The bathroom was overstocked with lots of towels and other stuff, I loved that! We felt like in the pictures the hot tub was on our side at our place but it is not. It's on there deck in front of there windows. We decided not to use it to as no privacy. We looked for the pool and it was an above ground little pool. We felt like it was kinda deceiving. Other than that it was what we needed to relax.

The lake and trails were nice

Not going into details. I loved the trails and found a great breakfast place. However, the hot tub...which thr majorly of people would like to be private was on the owners back deck. It didnt seem very clean. My son and i sat in the hot tub while the owners large back window was ioen and could see them through it. They had shower curtains hangin around but it would have been even weirder to be enclosed in a hot tub. The kitchen was dirty, floors all.dirty. the fridge had gair and dirt in it. I took lots of photos but not sure i can post here but will elsewhere. I thought this would be a private place but as soon as i started down a long driveway, i saw a man, the owner glaring at me as I drove all the way to the cabin and then stood there watching me get out of my car. I didnt appreciate it and when i voiced my opinion, about all of this i was met with one of them telling me "i wish you weren't here" i was really tired and wanted a nice private vavation. It didnt happen.

Romantic getaway with hot tub

Our stay was okay. We left early mainly because the property was a little different than what I thought we were getting. The listing made it seem as though we had our private hot tub area, we did not. The house was pretty but outdated, and not very clean. There was a distinct urine smell from the bed. All in all not super happy with it

Cozy and convenient

This was perfect. The location to our family reunion at Pickens Lake campground was so easy for us. Having our dog with us was a big part of the goal for our stay. The only hotel I would consider does not allow dogs and the security of us at The Shady Rest gave me peace of mind. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. I highly recommend to anyone going to visit Lake Eufala

Excellent weekend getaway w/shared spa and pool

Great little hideaway that has a nice bit of nature, fishing, hiking and is very dog friendly! Possible swimming area on lake but we didn't ask.

The teenage boys were off the devices! What more could you want?

I loved this place for my teenagers. It’s easy to pick a hotel but teenage boys need nature. They need dirt roads and docs to jump off of. A lake to swim in. A real adventure. They loved the pool and the hot tub. This was just such an enduring experience. While the boys had their outdoor country adventure I had a hot shower and a beautifully decorated home. Beautiful kitchen. Lots of bed arrangements. Don’t let those mini splits fool you - they cool the house beautifully. Keri was so kind and hospitable. So down to earth- even gave us farm fresh eggs. If you are a hotel person maybe this won’t be for you. But we loved it. The teenagers loved it and that’s a win in my book. Praying to see you again next summer!

Very pleasant experience

The owners, Glen and Kerry were very hospitable and friendly. They stay on the same property so they were very accessible anytime we had any questions. I loved that we could take our doggo with us. Lincoln loved being able to run around in the big yard and walking down to the lake with my husband and I. The house was very clean and perfect for our little weekend getaway. Also, the hot tub was divine for a relaxing evening after the days activities, and while the owners were on property we were afforded plenty of privacy. Overall we had a great first experience and would definitely go back to The Shady Rest.
