'This apartment was just what I needed for my long weekend trip. Except for the party nearby on Friday night, which I didn’t mind because the music was great, it is surprisingly quiet. 'Great stay, with all you need to make basic meals, sleep comfortably and be in the heart of Manhattan. Communication with our host was easy, directions to find the apartment were clear and we ate several great meals within blocks of our apartment. Everything you need is here, so don't hesitate. 'May’s home was perfect for our short visit to attend an event at the Javits Center. The two bedroom, two bathroom split plan was perfect for two couples traveling together and the views from this apartment are incredible. 'This is a shared apartment that means you share the apartment with others. I was confused thinking I will have a room in the apartment while kitchen and living area will be for us. But, there are 3 rooms and more people might check in while you are there. We were there and young (undergrad) people with their friends checked in thinking they can party all night. 'My roommate and I stayed in this unit as temp living for 3 months. The unit is extremely clean and is nicely updated. The owner lives nearby and is very responsive. He was aways was quick to solve any issues that came up. Only downside is the location is about a 15 min walk to the nearest subway station but there are plenty groceries, bars, parks, etc in walking distance.'
