'My daughter, dogs and I spent a week in May at this cute cottage on Broadkill Beach. The house was clean and nicely set up. The screened in front porch is bigger than it appears and was perfect for hanging out. The fenced backyard was a godsend for the dogs. Although the cottage can theoretically sleep 8, I wouldn’t recommend it as the living area is very small and the one bathroom is tiny. 'Cozy beach house with beautiful view! Saw fox, eagle, and many species of birds. Nicely decorated in light colors. I love that i could see the nature preserve and water from the small window in the shower! The bay and beach is a short walk, a few minutes away. 'What a gem of a property! My Girl Scout co-leader and I took our troop for a long weekend to celebrate their high school graduations. The house was a neat as a pin and well appointed with all of the supplies we needed to cook and enjoy the beach. We were steps from the beach and the Broadkill store on the island. 'We could not have been happier with our stay. The host Nannette made the process effortless from start to finish. The home is breathtaking on a private beach with just a short walk to the sand and water. The area is very quiet and private yet not too far from groceries, gas and things to do. It is also next to Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge which is beautiful and so peaceful. Highly recommend.'

'This property was just what we needed. As described, it is a rustic cottage. For the price, you cannot beat the location. It is just mere steps from the beach. The house was clean inside, and the furniture was super comfy. I do suggest bringing bug spray. The mosquitos were thick, but that is what you get when you are surrounded by water and we were prepared. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay there again.'
