'The location wasn't quite as secluded as we thought based on the description, but it was a perfect little spot and the beach was beautiful. Kelly (and her little dog, Charley) were SO accommodating and sweet. The cabin was very well stocked and we didn't want for anything. It is quite small with limited space for 3 people to move around, but we knew that when we rented it and it definitely didn't change the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.<3 Thank you!'

'The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit enjoying the lake. Great location as we visited the shipwreck museum and Mackinac Island. We also spent a day just enjoying the cabin, the lake, and watching movies. We thought we would miss internet but really enjoyed not having it. We wished that there was a bathroom...

'Everything about the description was correct. House is updated throughout.All the utensils you need for cooking and cleaning are in the house. The grill worked and had propane for use with it. 'We loved our stay! The picture window that looks out to Lake Superior was the perfect view! Fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. Clean and cozy cottage. The beach access is right in the backyard- down some steps. The first night we saw northern lights and amazing stars. 10/10 would recommend this cottage! Excellent hosts!'

'Our 3-generation family travelled to Brimley, MI to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our son, who is attending a local college. Trent & Kristine's cottage was a perfect spot for us. The cottage was stunning, well equipped and spotless! We enjoyed exploring the area during the day, and cozying up by the fireplace in the evenings. Trent and Kristine were very quick to answer any questions we had and made up feel very welcome in their cabin. Highly recommend! 10/10'

'Words cannot describe the exceptional house, setting and location. We arrived to a beautiful, exceptionally well cared for home. 'Great location. It was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. Cabin was rustic as advertised. Some maintenance could be done, but it didn't really bother us that much. The price was reasonable for our 7 night stay. We were able to rest comfortably and the view was wonderful!'

'We enjoyed having such a scenic view. The pond, yard, and river was beautiful! This is a great quiet place to stay. It was like a peaceful home away from home for our family. The host, Jeff, was awesome as well. Perfect location to be in the middle of nowhere but close enough to get to Sault St. Marie within 20 minutes. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us at Camp Goldade!'
