Strandhotels in Five Islands Village

'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'If you a looking for luxury, look somewhere else. With that said, Hawksbill was a different kind of resort. Very secluded and peaceful. The food is absolutely horrible except for the sea grapes restaurant. Went to the other place near the bar that says hours are 3-6, went one day at 530 and was told they ran out of food. Went Friday at 430 and was told the exact same thing. There is no bar near the pool so your either walking uphill about 100 yards to get a drink or waiting on the bar runner...

'Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch. Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions.
