'The mermaid themed room was well thought out & really made our stay feel unique. There was 1 manatee right off the dock when we arrived Thursday & three more on Saturday morning! What an experience! Plenty of great local restaurants were recommended by the property & we took the time to visit 2 of them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Neptune's Grotto to anyone looking for a quiet & simple Florida getaway. We definitely are considering returning in the future! Thank yoi for hscing us!'

'When we made our reservation we were not told how to communicate with the owner. We didn’t know where to get the key or since it was a private residence if we needed any other supplies. We were given 3 numbers to call and left several messages but no one ever returned our calls. Because we couldn’t communicate with them it seemed sketchy. We didn’t go there and of course lost our money. Even though we explained the problem they wouldn’t refund our money. A very bad experience!'

'Husband and I stayed for 5 nights. Met my sister and her husband in area. We had an amazing time kayaking, SUP’ing, rented pontoon, bikes, cooked in the house, ate at Upper Deck and Brian’s Place. House was so comfortable and lovely to hang out in! We will definitely be back. And owner, Tina, could not have been more lovely and responsive'
