Een Fantabulous dromen Terras in Ponte Vecchio FLORENCE

Op de tweede verdieping van een prachtig historisch gebouw, Casa Leopardi is op twee niveaus (woon / slaapgedeelte) en biedt een prachtig terras met een prachtig uitzicht over de daken van Florence.
Het gebouw waar het zich bevindt, dat zijn naam te danken heeft aan de heuvelachtige weg ("kust" in de Florentijnse traditie) gewijd aan San Giorgio, is slechts Oltrarno, op 30 meter van de Ponte Vecchio en op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het station Santa Maria Novella.
De geschiedenis van de structuur is verloren gegaan in de loop van de tijd, met behoud van slechts enkele onbetwistbare sporen van zijn verleden. Onder deze, de marmeren inscriptie van de achttiende eeuw waarin het is getuigd van het gebruik van het gebouw als een kapel van Santa Maria Maddalena in vorige eeuwen.

Quaint stay in Florence
A beautiful Tuscan style two bedroom right across the river. Fantastic location and cozy stay with a nice little balcony. Host was very nice too. Will be back!

This was a perfect location for Florence. It's removed from the crowds, quiet, but immediately accessible to everything and 2 parking garages immediately nearby. The larger bed is very comfortable but the smaller 1-person bed (a cot really) has bars and was not suitable for our 6' son. Conad immediately nearby, restaurants, all very convenient. Balcony tiny but very nice, lovely view. Note: we paid much more here in Florence for tourist tax than elsewhere, also be very careful dealing w/Serena the host.

Perfect locale and terrace
Location was perfect. Tucked away enough but also among the energy of the city. Conad (aka grocery store) is 2 minutes away and the views are just stunning. Only complaint is the mosquitos. I used to live in Florence and I know they are hard to avoid, but be prepared because most houses here do not have screens and windows should be sealed tightly at dusk. Host had bug spray and air repellent at the house which was thoughtful. Easy check in process and very clean place. The bed was the most comfortable bed and duvet ever. I actually took a picture of the mattress so I can remember!! Thank you so much.

Excellent location
The location is wonderful. This is not, however, a 3 bedroom. It is a 2 bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. It is well appointed and clean. The view is awesome from the balcony. We did get stuck in the elevator for over an hour one evening late, even though we adhered to the 3 person maximum. If you choose to use the elevator, make sure you have your cell phone!

Beautiful Firenze Home
We loved our stay here! We enjoyed staying in a lovely Italien neighborhood rather than a busy hotel. The flat is beautiful and clean. The bed is comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony in the evening. There’s even a small lift so you don’t have to drag luggage up the stairs. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The apartment is very spacious and the location is great. One thing to note is that to get to the building, there is a steep hill. So just note for the walk with the suitcases. That said, the location is great. Being on the other side of Ponte Vechio also gives you access to two garages (reserve in advance) which is convenient if you’re coming by car.

The apartment is spacious and centrally located with a lovely view from the small patio. You will need to climb steps to reach the building -- not a big deal, but if anyone in your group has mobility issues, this should be considered. Overall the property was well maintained and clean (although the tub/shower could use a refresh).

Great accommodations with grocery store 5 minutes from the place. Beautiful spacious VRBO. Balcony view. Awesome location near Arno River and across from Ufizi. Host could provide better communication but overall, I would stay there again. Area is safe.

The service at this place is ABYSMAL! We arrived and there was no key!!!! Our attempts to contact the owner failed - when we finally managed to reach them via the contact form on the website (hours later!!!!!), they insisted the key was there. Repeatedly. Even though we had looked everywhere for it and told them. We were forced to spend a night at a hotel!!!!! Not what we paid a lot of money for!!! The next morning, the key miraculously appeared. With no explanation or apology from the owner. We're still waiting for a refund for the night we didn't spend in the apartment. As an added 'bonus', the private parking space was NOT private or included in the price. Instead, we had to pay extra for a space in a garage nearby. Die Serviceleistung in dieser Unterkunft war hundsmiserabel. Als wir ankamen, fanden wir keinen Schlüssel. Unsere Versuche, die Besitzerin zu kontaktieren schlugen fehl - als wir sie über das Kontaktformular (Stunden später!) endlich erreichten, beharrte sie darauf, dass der Schlüssel da sei. Wiederholt. Obwohl wir überall danach gesucht hatten und es ihr auch sagten. Wir mussten die Nacht in einem Hotel verbringen. DAFÜR HABEN WIR NICHT SO VIEL GELD BEZAHLT! Am nächsten Morgen war dann der Schlüssel plötzlich da. Ohne Erklärung oder Entschuldigung der Vermieterin. Wir warten noch auf eine Entschädigung für die Nacht, die wir nicht in dem Apartment verbringen konnten. Als zusätzliches Schmankerl ist der Parkplatz kein Privatparkplatz oder im Preis inbegriffen

Great place to stay in Florence
We could not have asked for a better location. The Ponte Vecchio is only a couple of minutes away by foot. There are cafes and restaurants at the bottom of the street. The apartment is clean and very cute. It's so close to everything (Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia, Pitti Palace, Palazzo Vecchio, even the pick-up point for our bike ride through Tuscany) that we just walked everywhere. The air conditioning was a life saver, as was the washing machine. The garbage rules are confusing though; I never did find the dumpster, so just walked down the block and put our garbage/recycling in the public bins. You should know that there's a bit of an uphill walk to get to this apartment; there are stairs you can take, or you can walk up the hill on the street. But totally worth the climb. Would happily stay there again.

This was a great place to stay, and having a washing machine saved us as it was super hot in July. Also, the AC worked better than any other place we stayed in Italy, so that was a huge plus, as well. Yes, the property is older, but it is so cute and it was so nice to have two rooms for the three of us. They had a binder of information that was helpful, as well. I would totally recommend staying here.

This place was so adorable. It was exactly as described. It was clean, had air and my favorite was the view! Thank goodness for the washer as 2 of travelers luggage never arrived to Italy so we needed to use the washer! I would absolutely stay here again!!
