This is a modern/updated 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment with modern appliances. It has ceramic marble tile floor throughout with granite/marble counter tops. The entire space is about 1200 sq ft. This apartment is located in a small community of apartments listed on AirBnB. They are all 3 bedroom 2 baths. It is located within 2 miles of the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is located on a dead end street next to a high school, so it provides unparalleled quietness and privacy. It is also conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the airport, beaches, and cruise port. It is also conveniently located near I-95 interstate for convenient and efficient travel.

My review
The property was real nice. Beds were comfortable. The property manager considers face cloths toiletries. He provided 1 face cloth per couple. When asked if we were expected to share he directed us to Wal-Mart. The next day he did give us 3 more. He provided the wrong wifi code, went back and forth for 2 hours. When he discovered he'd given us the wrong code, no apology. He just provided the correct code abd told us to stop complaining. Property sleeps 6. Initially there were 4 of us. We added 2 more and was charged 50 extra. We don't understand why the extra charge.Wanted to check in early he wanted 50 but wanted us to Zelle it instead of using the credit card we were already using. We didn't do it.We were there 4 days, he provided 2 dish washer pods. 1 extra trash bag for the kitchen. No extra bags for the bathrooms.

Horrible experience- DO NOT STAY HERE
The property was nothing like described. It was in an ugly area surrounded by trash and old appliances. Inside, the furniture was in terrible shape, with toe nail clippings on the couch. The curtains and bedding were full of holes, and the towels were old and disgusting.One of the showers had black scum on the floor, and the room smelled awful. It was so bad we couldn’t stay and booked another place at three times the cost.The owner ignored my messages and calls, and the number listed was out of service. Vrbo couldn’t reach him either. When I finally got a response, he accused me of lying, bullying, and trying to con him. If I were trying to con him and get a refund, I would have stayed at the property. Instead, we left for a much better and cleaner house. He spammed me with messages and sent staged photos of the house, which looked nothing like what I experienced.Even when Vrbo contacted him, he was rude to the agent, hung up on them, and refused to address the issue or give a refund. Vrbo’s agent recommended leaving this review.Save yourself the stress and harassment—DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. I also have pictures of the place but was not able to attach them to review

Great for cruise location
This home did what we needed it to do. We were cruising out of Port Everglade and wanted to start our trip right away, since we all live in different states it was decided to rent one location that we could all be in. Reading previous reviews we learned that this location was easy to get from the airport and cruise port. The home was exactly as described. We made a mistake... it was on us! Staying in a different VRBO home before it was assumed they all had the same setup. The other location had a fully stocked kitchen with hot drinks, bottled water, salt pe[[er and sugar provided along with snacks. As a result, no one stopped to bring anything in. It was cold and wet, a hot cup of tea would have been welcomed. That misunderstanding had nothing to do with the owner. Before you come, stop and get what you would need before going to this property.:-)

Very bad experience
We only had given used toilet paper rolls on each bathroom. When ask for extra toilet papers. We were told to buy it ourself. We had 2 nights stay with 6 people.Never had rental that we had to buy toilet paper anywhere.

Checkin was frustrating, the door code was wrong so luckily the window was not locked so we gained access while waiting for communication with the building owner for. Next day communication from the Manager finally went thru to have him tell us that it rained and must have got the dial lock box wet, so he sent a new code that opened it. Poor communication left us frustrated.

Location was close to the character boat. Just what we needed. Only complaint was insufficient cooking pans ( we bought a frying pan) and not enough silverware. Otherwise it was every clean and the price was right.

Late check out
Our stay was short, we requested early check in and were allowed to access at 1pm instead of 4pm with a $40 charge. Our flight the next day wasn’t until 5pm so we requested a late check out. We sent multiple messages over a 12 hour period to the host but he did not respond. I even advised that we were travelling with a 90 year old mother and explained that 10am check out is difficult for us. The host never responded to us. We exited the property and had to sit at the airport for 6 hours, it would have been more comfortable if we could have stayed longer at the property. In addition, the fridge was not working. We had purchased groceries and some items were spoiled by morning. We checked and found that the breaker had been turned off. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

Access instructions were good, no issues getting in. Unfortunately, due to plane delays, we arrived very late (11:30 PM) and had to be out by 10am. First time staying at a VRBO property perhaps I should have researched more and realized that normal hotel amenaties are not provided. We really wanted coffee in the morning. :)

Good overnight stay
Apartment was clean and nice. We stayed one night before catching our cruise ship so it was nice to have enough bedrooms and a kitchen. There were plenty of mirrors which is important when you have 5 ladies getting dressed It was very quiet no issues. Only suggestions needed additional sheets, pillow and blanket for the pull out couch and a few more towels would have been nice but a good over all deal for the price

The couches in the living room were pathetic. Horrible springs and support. We had add other cushions on top to make them even remotely acceptable. Not a great neighborhood. Thermostat was a major problem. No way to switch from a/c to heat. (Cold nights). No extra blankets anywhere. Had to have service call to REWIRE the thermostat so we could have heat on a 59 degree night. I would NOT recommend this place.

Close to the port and the airport, the living room furniture is absolutely horrible and un comfortable. The small couch was broken you would sit in a hole or partially on the wood frame. The main couch cushions were whipped no support or comfort for sitting in the living room from either. Beds were decent but one of our pillows had a stain on it. Ok for overnight, nothing longer. I would not stay here again,

This was a perfect overnight location for a cruise we were taking the following morning. Walking distance to “The Riverside Market” pub/pizza place. It was also awesome and a great place for a decompress after traveling for most of the day. Will book again if we cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.

Served its purpose but not flawless
Accommodations were well enough, especially for the price point. Apartment was clean and lay out was perfect for our needs. Couches were very uncomfortable and on the brink of falling apart though. Our only “major” issue was listing stated there was a pull out couch. When we went to set it up the first night, there was no bedding to be found. We checked ALL closets and drawers but couldn’t find any blankets or pillows for the pullout couch. I sent a message to owner but found him to very rude (as you can probably see from his response on here to poor reviews).He couldn’t tell me exactly where spare bedding is kept within the house. We looked everywhere though. He suggested that we just take bedding from the other beds (which were all being used) to make up the pull out couch. I said that I assumed that bedding would be included for that bed since it was listed it on the VRBO listing. He then claimed I was being rude to him. Eventually he said he would have house keeping drop off bedding the following day. This place isn’t the Hilton, but again, at this price point it served its purpose. Not really close to anything so expect to use Uber or rent a vehicle. Giving 4 stars mainly because of the interactions with the owner.
